You know, I agree with you in a way, but at the same time, I don't because you're talking about team meetings whilst playing team basketball. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Wade is better than Kobe by a long shot. To me, Kobe is the best thing since sliced bread, but I still wonder how close a matchup it would be now that Kobe is on the downside of his career.

Can you really bring game match up outcomes to this? When you don't need to worry about where your team mates are or where a double team is coming from? You are also responsible for every single rebound. 1 on 1 is completely different.

Kobe has the best all around game, and has always had the killer instinct on offense... so 1v1 kobe has my vote... hands down

Lebron on the other hand is scary when you place him with a strong team. a team where he can lure a double/triple team and dish it to a shooter.

Kobe's 1on1 game is the best, 2nd to none. He would easily beat Lebron. IMHO I think prime Kobe vs. prime MJ would be 1 to 1 odds.
