Re: Question About LAC Pick
The odds are pretty small for any team between 11-14, like between 1-2 percent. A legitimate would require some regression. And if we took that kind of jump this season, I'd be hoping for the playoffs in 2012 not lottery luck.

I hope we don't regress too. But I'd still like to have a consolation prize if things don't pan out or we suffer an injury or two. Given the same odds or slightly worse odds in 2012 than in 2011, I'd much prefer to draft out of the 2012 talent pool.

1. An improved (yet again) Brewer is not worth trading.
2. How high is LAC on Aminu?
3. If we have no shot at the number 1 pick, let them have it. (When do we ever have a shot at the 1st pick anyway?)
I'd say let them have it. Although I don't know if 10 teams will be worse than us anyway though....
LAC would have little or no interest in trading for Brewer and most definitely wouldn't trade the pick back to Minnesota for him. The protection on it runs out after 2011 and the 2012 draft should be a good one.

Keep in mind, Clippers fans believe that Wolves pick is GUARANTEED to be the first pick in the draft in 2012. I'm sure we'd have to trade them lap dances for all 3 Clippers fans from the Wolves dancers to even get them to pick up the phone on trade discussions.

Don't touch the girls! Send 'em diseased crack whores and have the ladies ditch 'em after taking all their cash. Utah was thought to have NY by the balls and ended up with Gordon Hayward. Gordon freaking Hayward. Talk about a buzz kill. A team doesn't have to win that many games to be looking at the 8-9th pick in the draft.
