There is nothing wrong with Deron's words, Bird and Magic hated each other on court as well, its what drives competition to the next level. In any case, IMO he would love to play for LA, and LA would be very lucky to have him, I wouldnt be surprised if Lakers would upgrade PG position in the future Deron or not Deron, but its overdue, Fisher is on his last legs, and GM should be working hard behind the scenes to get someone decent.

Of course Deron Williams hates the Lakers. I'm sure Karl Malone did too, but he eventually joined the Lakers when the opportunity arose. I bet if Deron Williams had an opportunity to join the Lakers, he wouldn't think twice.

There are few players in the league that would fit into our system as seamlessly as D-Will. I feel bad for the guy; he's a clear competitor who genuinely cares about winning, he has a HOF coach, and his supporting cast has a lot of talent but little heart.

The Jazz have always been a blue collar team with more heart than talent. They just got rid of a guy with no heart, Carlos Boozer and added blue collar type players (Raja Bell, Gordon Hayward, Al Jefferson).

I have read on the site Deron Williams might be next to ask for a trade. He hates the Lakers and nothing is going to change if he is on the Jazz. Deron Williams would leave Utah as a free agent no doubt. Nothing wrong with Lebron,Bosh superstars actually playing with other stars makes the league exciting. Deron Williams would do the same thing if he had the chance. MJ,Magic,Bird did not to do it by themselves they had their all-stars. You want other teams to have multiple all-stars, that is what made great 80s teams so fun to watch.
