Depending on how much the offense is forced through him Amar'e might be able to squeeze 2-3 more points into his averages but let's be real kamaze his efficiency WILL NOT increase now that he's no longer playing aside Nash, so unless Kneemar'e suddenly learns how to play defense and dedicates himself to rebounding he's going to be worse without Nash than he was with him.

And before someone tries to draw the Dirk parallel the difference between Dirk and Amar'e is that Amar'e is a pure finisher where Dirk is more of an iso player so Nash leaving helped him in that it gave him undisputed control over the ball and made him a threat everytime down the court.

But anyway I found this gem a few minutes ago:

I think his role will change in the eastern conference, it's a little slower there may be more emphasis on defense. He'll be energized by the fans at the garden.
At least he can be more of a presence blocking shots he has the ability.

Courtney Lee is expected to play backup SG for the Rockets this season, but he's also been playing some PG during training camp.

Lee is enthused about his new team, saying, "On offense, I have the most freedom I’ve ever had playing in the NBA." Houston also expects him to be a defensive stopper, but fantasy owners should be more encouraged about his offensive potential as a combo guard.

Not sure whats so funny, he played PG on defense like half the time last year. The guy will get plenty of minutes in Houston despite Martin and Battier. He is a good player, should have kept him.

Damn, Pistons Terrico White (who i wanted bad as a Nets 2nd rounder) broke his hand and Jerebko tore his Achilles. I thought the Pistons could be worst in the league before this, not that these guys are super important players, but that sucks to lose 2 guys to bad injuries in a freaking preseason game.
