Well Nash made Boris Diaw at PF look like he is worth 8M per year.

Good thing Counsins can't play PF :)

Anyway, all i'm doing is pointing out that a guy we passed on is doing well. I understand completely the reasoning for passing on and him and that its just pre-season.

The system made Diaw look better than he was not nash. He played better when he had the ball go through him, which didn't happen all that much with nash on the floor. I remember Diaw had a triple double in a game Nash didn't play.

I agree the system had more to do with it than Nash, but Nash also played a huge factor in that breakout season.

Even though I'm a Cousins fan, there's no point rehashing this.

Philly probably should have taken him
Minny probably should have taken him
If we didn't have Brook we obviously would have taken him.

The reasons we drafted Favors were known:

-He was more a PF/better fit with Brook
-Defense
-Long-term potential
-Character
-Conditioning
-"safe pick"

Cousins is the higher risk/higher reward prospect that was expected to come in and produce right way. The question for Sacramento will be can he keep his emotions in check in games and in practice (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he will be ok off the court), and can he maintain an level of conditioning that will make it through 30+ minutes and 82+ games without serious fatigue or injury. We would have had those same questions too, as well as could he mesh with Lopez and could he get along with Avery. We will never know. Oh well.

I just love the fact that we can shoot now. Last year was pathetic we couldn't hit anything. Except the rare Simmons corner 3. Our shooting has improved so much and we still haven't seen Murphy who is one of our better shooters.

As for Favors he will have his ups and downs but I like the work ethic and his defensive effort. Once he gets a go to post move he will be fine.

T-Will is looking like a stud he needs to just continue to improve his decision making and he is going to be a special player.

If Harris stays healthy and Lopez continues to get better and T-Will plays to his abilities we will surprise some people.

How many minutes do you expect Humphries to receive? Around 10 or 20?

God I hope not!

Hoping for around 5 per game, strictly situational. Expecting about 10 to 15.

I think Humph is the 1st big off the bench until Favors and Petro push him out. Even if they do i think he is still good for 10-15 min.

Given Murphy's injury and Favors' inexperience, I expect Humphries to play minutes early on, and then as needed. Personally, I like the guy for his rebounding, defense and toughness. Avery should just set a shot limit of 3 shots and then he gets pulled.

Then he won't last more than 3 minutes in the game.. Dude thinks he kobe, taking fadeaways while being heavily guarded AND having 18 seconds left on the shot clock.
