^^so you guys truly believe that PJ wants to play mind games with Bynum so he can motivate the injury prone C into coming back sooner? Thus possibly getting reinjured? :-?

I meant that he's using his statements as a motivating factor for Bynum to rehab harder, so that his knee becomes stronger and will be able to handle the season. It is Phil afterall saying all that, and we all know that he likes to play mindgames.

My opinion, of course.

i think he's trying to motivate bynum into being such a drama queen about his return date.

Looking as though this could be Phil's last season I wonder if he's got time to for these petty remarks. He could just be looking for consistency and continuity from a much earlier part of the season than he did last year.

Ebanks should lay off the twitter. Hes addicted to it. If the media gets a hold of tweets like this and sees that Bynum is doing things other than rehabbing it will just add more fuel to the fire. Next thing you know the media will be aiming a ton of rumors at the Lakers.
Had fun wit the kidz 2day, now back in my room grubing on some barcelona mckie d's lol about to play bynum in fifa 11. Who should i choose?

I can see your concern over that... but they're just playing videogames? Bynum doesn't need to be re-habbing 24/7.

I know that but you know how the media is. They can find a way to turn something such as playing a video game on his own time into "The Lakers are looking to trade Bynum because of a disagreement with the coaching staff." He is thrown around is every single trade rumor its (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Bynum responded to Jackson's recent comments to the Los Angeles Times suggesting that if the 22-year old's injuries persist, the Lakers will be forced to only use him as a "short-minute guy," similar to Houston's plan for oft-injured center Yao Ming.

"We already tried to do that -- limit minutes," Bynum said. "I think it maybe can work, maybe not. I don't know."

Bynum said that a strict cap however, like the Rockets' 24 minutes or less rule for Yao, would not be something he would agree with.

"I'm not down with that at all," Bynum said.

Back on topic - it's not like Bynum is playing Wii fit - his knee needs to relax at some point. His comments make me think he's dumb and missed Phil's disapproval of his drama queen recovery tactics. Also, Ebanks is young and fairly entertaining, let him go.

We all used to be members of the THELAKERSNATION.COM until that site turned into Kindergarten. LoL

I'll just come out and say it bro. LoL.
My Username over there is *******20.
Im just using Kalidogg24 ova here cuz alot of them cats in TLN are trying to get me to come back and I told them I retired . LoL. (Well hopeflly none of those cats sees this post. If they do oh well. )

Not a big deal and I will neve go back especially when the Site Admin be banning people because they disagree with his views.
He predicted the Lakers to fall and lose these past two seasons.
He said the Cavs were a lock to win it last year and the Rockets were a guarantee to eliminate us the season before in that grueling 7 game series. SMH

Had to do the switch to Realgm cuz the convos in here be much more knowledgeable.
An in TLN alot of the cats in there including the site admin are only Laker fans because of Kobe.

They think the rest of the team is trash and would trade Andrew Bynum , Pau Gasol or Lamar Odom for Kevin Love. LMAO. REAL TALK.
No disrespect to K.Love but he ain't no where on the same level as any of the Laker Bigs yet.

R.GM is the S#%@!!!

Its not bad that the players are doing these things I'm just saying the media could find a way to use these things against him.

I don't think anyone cares enough about it to make a deal out of it. Also it's twitter so it's not even a cite-able source for any reliable news source.

ESPN broke news about Durant's contract extension because he posted it on his twitter.

Drew is saying he isn't down with just being a limited minutes player but he is forcing the staff to do so. If they see a guy can't physically push himself beyond a certain limit then they aren't going to allow him to get hurt again. If this happens I can see Drew trying to get into a disagreement with the coaching staff. This is the only way I see Bynum being traded before his contract is up. I would much rather just see him accept a lesser role and keep his mouth shut if its for the best of the team.

We're giving too much for this kid and I'm not just talking about $$$.

If hes just going to be a role player playing less than 28-30 min a game we should just trade him (for the right players of course).
