Sorry if this has been posted already, feel free to merge.

Gotta love this. Most notable, is that changing the name back to the Bullets is under consideration.

I don't think it has been posted or discussed, amazingly enough. I too was struck by the point that Ted has changing the name back to the Bullets under consideration. Unfortunately, because of Gil's incident, I think it's unlikely it will happen very soon. But hot pizza and plenty of toilet paper are definitely good things as well ;-).

102. Hire an all new training and medical staff. Ideally, poach the #2 guy from DET or PHX and give them an oversized budget to hire the best and brightest.

I don't think they'll go back to the Bullets either. It really has less to do with Gilbert than with Ted honoring Abe. As long as they change the absolutely terrible uniforms and colors, that's cool with me.

I love the list. # 30 was the only one I was disappointed with - drafting local players. That reeks of emphasizing marketing way too much. See O'Malley comma Susan. Who you draft should NEVER be a marketing strategy. All player personnel decisions should be based on building a championship. And I think Ted knows better; otherwise, he would have had EG draft Greivis.

Edit - Pancakes beat me to it. Great minds...

Actually, that's my suggestion for a new to-do item. Ted's list stops at 101. :P

I would not waste draft picks(even seconds) on BLPA(best local player available). However when it comes to who to bring in as training camp fodder or even a few 10 day contracts, then it might not be a bad idea to give the local guys a look. I think where this strategy could have some merit is when there is a local D-League team, there should be some guys with local roots(college or HS) on the team.

I think it increases the fan experience to see some local fan favorite coming off the bench in the last 3 minutes of a blow out. However it does not make sense to lower the quality of the team by drafting a rotation guy just because he is local.

Actually I hope he stays far away from our messageboard. God forbid he wonders into the Trade thread and read some of Rico's manifestos. :D

Nice to see him putting in a lot of work already. Glad he's the owner of the Wizards.

Because if there is one thing that screams patriotism, it's a Wizard.

The current colors are fine. Red, white and blue with the current team name will look ridiculous, and I doubt the "Bullets" will be making a return any time soon.

This is actually going to be a pretty tough year for me. We've got so many guys with expiring deals that there just aren't many options to make moves without adding salary. I'll probably be playing around with other teams' rosters instead of the Wiz. So maybe Ted is safe to read the board...for now.

In regards to a possible name change: This was posted on another message board.

I got to say, when I started my "Name to Replace Wizards" thread, someone on here sent me a PM saying that he had an inside source that told him it's an absolute lock that Ted is going to change the name back to Bullets. He laid out how they were going to do it. And since then, things have gone down exactly as stated.

I hope he doesn't mind me posting this. Please take the credit though if you don't.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

#1 should be getting a new medical and training staff.
