A bit off topic here but just out of the blue I noticed something tonight and the 8 years or so I have been watching HEAT home games. Why is our arena music or theme or whatever you call it so bland? It plays the same thing over and over again and it gets old pretty fast.

Like the Bulls or Cavs for example has that organ music playing or even the Lakers with their arena music that only they use. Am I the only one that thinks this or am I just crazy? lol

Soon there will a thread on the GB titled: "Lebron: I..."
It will last 30 pages of people complaining about Lebron using the word "I".

Damn, New York looks like a joke against a joke franchise Wolves
Y'all are just mad because y'all don't got swagger like Lebron has. It is a scientific fact that Bron's swagger has the power to transform an otherwise level-headed adult male into a jealous woman.

Y'all ever spend any time thinking about posting something funny here in the random thought thread? I was walking around tonight, remembering some post I made about a Jon Secada jam and where it ranked in the top 10 songs of all time. And I thought, wouldn't it be funny to make another post about Jon Secada, ya boy. So I this is what I came up with:

"What is the name of that Jon Secada track that goes, "what these bitches want from a ****?"?"

That would've been the post by itself in this thread, but I decided to post about the random thoughts leading to the post. I think it's funny, I laughed when I thought of it.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Did anyone notice that Pat Riley gave Shaq's #32 to rookie Mickell Gladness who is a long shot to make the roster?
After Hardaway (10) and Zo (33) retired, NO PLAYER were allowed to wear their numbers... :D

It says a lot as to where Shaq stands with Riley and the franchise.

Just saying....

Good catch. I think Keith Askin's #2 also has that honor.

So the Lakers lost to FC Barcelona...

I didn't see the game, but I read that they actually tried in the last 6 minutes of the game? And couldn't stop Navarro? They put some starters back in?

IF any of that is true then..

I know it is a preseason game, but I don't like it when any NBA team loses to an international squad. I wish the Lakers had won this match up just to represent the NBA against the oversea competition. :(

John Schuhmann playing the numbers game, this time on defense.

According to this piece of work, Miami will be the top defensive team thanks to perimeter defense.

Well LA is still developing Chemistry and Bynum is still out.

Still no excuse for horrendous shooting from their entire team all game long.

Lol, I bet if it was us instead, all LA fans and generally, 90% of other teams fans would act like it's the end of the world already and call us as a disaster.

Oh but wait...Bynum wasnt playing. It was just a friendly pre-season game. Kobe wasnt 100%, it was played in Spain, blah blah.

smh.

Eh it's just one preseason game so I won't make a judgment that fast, they can still work things out and be the best team in the West, but... for some reason this Lakers team is starting to feel like our Heat team the season after the championship year. Good when healthy, but not great enough for championship. Can be eliminated early with the right "hot" team.

I don't know. I mean, I watched their game against the Wolves and they looked pretty awful against them, but then again it's preseason and these games are more for the show than anything else since it's just one big marketing tour. So you have to ask yourself how seriously they really took it? I want to beat the Lakers at their best because otherwise it'll just be "Yeah you won now but you would not have won two years ago". I know it sounds stupid but I bet somebody will say it.

Nope, they'll have their first one tonight against the Clippers and as far as I know, Dorell is supposed to be their starter at small forward. If they keep on running like they did under Nellie, I'm sure he'll thrive in their system. His athletic, has long arms and can the ball. If he starts, I expect him to average at least 10 a game.

Dorell with 16 points (5-11 shooting, including 2-4 from beyond the arc), 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 0 turnovers in 27 minutes. Nice debut.
