OK, this deserves its own thread.

Where exactly is the Rockets tailgate area? Seriously. I'd go to way more games if there was a designated area in which to humiliate myself more cheaply.

Spill it.

wtf? Where is that? Galveston? Manhattan? Morey already has a chicken & rice stand. It's called Sparkle's Hamburger Spot, at Dowling and Leeland. (Right by where Landry got ventilated.)

Pic for reference. The food is stellar, just so long as you call ahead by about 3 hours.

Lucky's pub is a stones throw away from Minute Maid Park and also a couple places on Main Street.

That's very insightful. I see where you're coming from and I did not intend to do that. I am not going to sugarcoat my opinions..I say it how i see it and ppl will have to accept that. BUt I see in this thread how it may have came off as being inconsiderate to Yao fans but it was intended to be a joke. BUt I will keep things professional when the season starts and everybody knows im a rockets fan. Just ask kidfresh or king roosk..they know me since the golden age and they respect my invaluable analysis the few times I'm around. SInce I'm usually busy and cannot indulge people with my invaluable analysis as often as they like. Thanks TMU for being understanding and I will be back when the season starts my friend.

No, no, no....this thread got a bit derailed there, but we are going to finish it. I know that we hate the Lakers, but they don't deserve 10 consecutive spots here.

Everyone just relax, get ready for the game and let Mr. E bring this thread home.

9) Bill Worrell's final season calling plays (I say this with love for Bill...but it is time)

8) Seeing Stevie Franchise & the Cat sitting in the front row, watching the game and talking about the good ol' days

7) Dikembe Mutumbo appearing at some games, to thunderous applause from this city who calls the great Cookie Monster one of their own. Payable in Twos dollar bills.

6) The Trade Board being overloaded with Ish Smith trade proposals once people see what this kid can do.

5) The Utah Jazz can kiss my ass.

4) So can the Mavericks.

3) Hakeem gracing us with his presence at some games, offering guidance to Jordan Hill & Patrick Patterson.

2) roxfashoballin' FINALLY gets him that Big, Black Guy he's wanted for so long!

1) Our Team. Our Town. Our Time. It's been a long frew years for us, but the Rockets Faithful are as strong as ever, and we are ready to start the season with what may be the most balanced, deepest team that we have ever had. The "experts" and critics can take a page from Mel Gibson's attempts at marriage counselling and B*#@ me! This is RED NATION! This is the US/China Connection. This is the streets of every town in Argentian realizing that for all too long they have worshipped the false god that is soccer because it is Scola's Time! This is Kyle Lowry STILL failing to realize that he is not 7 feet tall while he takes it into the paint - without fear - against whatever passes as "big men" in this league! This is Aaron Brooks taking the next step from explosive to consistant. This is Kevin Martin fouling suckers out and hitting a record number of free throws. This is Courntey Lee reminding people that despite a stint in Jersey that he is still in this lleage! This is the young guys - Jermaine Taylor, Pat Patterson, Ish Smith, and the Wildcats - Chase & Jordan - informing fools that the depth of this team is the only thing holding them back! This is the Planet Earth - 3/4 of which is covered by Chuck Hayes...WHO NOW HAS OFFENSE!!! This is Shane Battier, future ruler of the freaking universe, tying it all together.

And then there is Morey.

Let's get this season started.

who's the big black guy ur talking about? sammy d? nene? lopez? i must know. there's nothing like a big black guy blocking shot after shot, screaming at the throats of the other teams midget bigs. and getting suspended for a few games cuz he's too big and black for the nba.
