SUMMARY
Needless to say, I am very very happy with how this team unfolded. I took a very young up and coming team and put them over the top. I have a very reasonable payroll (the lowest of all winning teams!). I have no dead weight bad contracts and the future of this team is even brighter then the real life up and coming Thunder Squad!
Unlike others I built around the real life franchise and did not build a fantasy team. My players all “fit” together. Westbrook / Afflalo / KD / TyThomas / Al Jefferson all compliment eachother perfectly. Plus, I have a 2nd unit (Hinrich/Harden/AK47/Blair/Aldrich) that would be a playoff team in this game. This team is so good and deap that a proven 2–way role player in Dahntay Jones and a rookie that is projected to go in the top 3, Enes Kanter, can not get any minutes.
FUTURE
I kept the young STUDS that OKC already had (KD, Westbrook, Harden, Aldrich) added a stud BIG in D.Blair, signed a project backup PG in S.Collins, and drafted Kanter (projected to go 3rd), T.Thompkins (projected top 15), J.Hamilton (projected top 20), “Top Flight” Wright (projected 1st rounder) plus own the rites to half of Europe. I have no over the hill vets, and no dead weight or cap killers on my roster, plus have almost all future draft picks

SUMMARY:
-I loved how this team turned out, and i managed to bring together the two most dominant players at their position in Kobe, and Howard. I didn't even leave my team totally drained. I still have stuff around them. Randolph for example brings a top notch post game, and next to Dwight he should fit in great with Howard covering most of his defensive mistakes. Thornton who most people probably wouldn't view as a starter, could actually do quite will in his role. At the 3 he would mainly be needed to shoot the ball and help spread the floor for Dwight, Zbo, and Kobe. Bibby won't play as much as a people think, he's mainly there for his experience, and because he has a good jumpshot to spread the floor. Off the bench i have a good core in Chalmers who can play good defense and cover the other teams good PG's that will be his main objective in games. Not to mention we also have Tmac to come in and score for us off the bench, could also start if he's on a roll. Wayne Ellington, and William Buford are just prospects to develop at the SG position. If just one of them can develop to a good enough starter, by learning from Kobe...we'll we would have our succesor to Kobe haha....At the C position we are fairly deep with Ben Wallace, and Gana Diop. Wallace can be good spark off the bench to energize the crowd with his defensive enigma, and to back up Zbo we have my boy Bass who has a nice mid range shot, and hustles harder than anyone else on the floor.
FUTURE:
Our future is on Dwight Howard's broad shoulders...lol he will lead the way for this Portland Franchise in the future..Next to him will be Bass who should develop nicely into a more well rounded player, but unfortunately he will always be undersized. Thornton/Johnson could make a great duo at the SF position both have shown potential to merit the opportunity to be given the chance to lead this club at the SF position. At SG we have Buford, and Ellington both of whom are shooters, with some athleticism in their game and make great future mates for Dwight Howard to pass the ball to for an open 3.At the PG position we have my boy Avery Bradley who plays great position, can shoot the ball with the best of em, but just needs to develop his handling and passing skills to be a capable starter in this league, but his ability to defend, and shoot should keep him in this league for a long time.

Picks owned: All picks except the ones listed in debits
Picks owed: DAL 2011 1st, DAL 2011 2nd (both unprotected). Have also traded DAL 2012 1st with top 5 protection.
TPEs:
Kris Humphries ($1,200,000)
Quinton Ross ($1,033,342)
Nathan Jawai ($736,420 )
Exceptions available: MLE
Trading Block: At this point I'm looking to go with a win now approach and get some star players and solid depth to put next to Dirk Nowitzki. I'm not really interested in offers for Nowitzki unless you blow me away. I'm somewhat alright with the way my squad looks right now and think that it's super deep and would be able to compete with the best teams but obviously still looking to improve my team. One of Haywood/Yao is likely to be dealt by the end of the game.
Transaction History:
1. Traded Tyson Chandler to NOH for Erick Dampier and Quincy Pondexter.
2. Traded Erick Dampier, Quincy Pondexter and Dominique Jones to SAS for Manu Ginobili and Garrett Temple.
3. Waived Garrett Temple (unguaranteed contract).
4. Traded Shawn Marion and DeShawn Stevenson to WAS for Baron Davis.
5. Traded Jason Terry, Jose Juan Barea, Alexis Ajinca and 2011 DAL 2nd to SAS for Richard Jefferson and Joel Przybilla.
6. Signed Ime Udoka for vet min.
7. Traded TPE (Kris Humphries deal) to UTAH for Jarvis Hayes and cash considerations (equalling half of Hayes' salary).
8. Traded Caron Butler, Joel Przybilla, 2011 DAL 1st (unprotected) and 2012 DAL 1st (top 5 protected) to DEN for Renaldo Balkman, Shelden Williams and Yao Ming.
SUMMARY:
Our offense will revolve around Dirk, and Yao....Jefferson will have the role of role player...I expect Beaubois to shime in this year, and have a breakthrough season. Davis is not someone i wanted at the PG position, but with Kidd off the bench i guess i won't have to roll with him too long. I prefer the Kidd/Beaubois backcourt....Kidd will defend the 2s, and Beaubois the waterbug 1s. Off the bench we are pretty deep at C incase Yao happens to get injured.Amundson and his hustle can backup Dirk fairly well. And our 6th man Manu will come in with Davis or Kidd off the bench. He'll also be one of our clutch go to guys alongside the best efficient clutch player in the game in Dirk...lol
FUTURE:
The Mavericks future relies upon the aging Dirk, and the french sensation Beaubois, as well as the other frenchie Mahinmi. Beaubois has the abiltiy to score whenever he wants, from any where on the floor. If he can develop his passing game as well as his ability to get through picks defensively he should have a great future ahead of him as the franchise player for this team.Mahinmi is a guy im very fond of because he just hustles to death after the ball. The rebound could be 20ft away but hell just snatch it out of the other guys hand;s in the air, and bring it down to deliver it to the PG. He also has a developing offensive game.

My Team
11 rings
Elite Defense
Elite Offense
Just some of the ways to describe my team. When I took on the Hornets job, things looked grim. Talks of CP3 being traded; no front office stability - it didn't look right. But somehow the pieces fell, Chris Paul was traded, but in came new faces, Duncan, Gasol and Parker being the new faces of the franchise.
I won't bore you with stats, I'll just say a front court duo of Duncan and Gasol will be pretty unstoppable. Elite defense, passing, plus the two most fundamentally skilled offensive bigs will make life hard for anyone. Add in arguably the best perimeter defender in Artest, the best 3 pt shooter in Miller, and the most successful scoring PG in the last decade in TP, and it's a formidable team at both ends.
On top of that, my bench is deep and full of talent. Robin Lopez is developing into a solid defensive Center, and under the guidance of Duncan will almost certainly become my C of the future. Drew Gooden is a starter IRL and will prove to be the ideal big off the bench for my team; Nocioni will come in for defensive assignments, whilst reigning 6th man of the year Crawford will hopefully do the same again - score, lots. And Blake offers the 3 point threat and starting experience to contrast nicely with Parker. I've also got some young guys (Summers, Belinelli, Allen, Vasquez) with decent upside who can contribute at a later stage.
Beating my rivals
Having just worked out my rankings, my rivals appear to be OKC and Portland in the West, and Detroit and Miami in the East. But I'm pretty sure, at least for the next couple of years, my team is capable of beating any of those in a straight playoff series. First up OKC. We've all seen what Artest did to Durant, he's the guy that can stop him. Westbrook won't outpace TP like he did to Fisher, whilst the front court of Tyrus and AlJeff will get overpowered by Pau and TD.
Next: Portland. Artest on Kobe; Pau or Duncan on Dwight, with his main two options limited I have no doubt TP will exploit Bibby and Miller will exploit Thornton at the other end. Neither of those guys should be starting on a playoff team and the lack of defensive ability both there and off the bench would make this my easiest matchup.
Next: Miami. Never have I seen so many unsuccesful players combine to make a successful team. The team certainly has talent, but also inexperience. Brook and Morrow will only have 3 years experience for the upcoming season, Curry 2, and Griffin just one. They all have limitations too, size at PF will be a problem with Smith and Blake giving up 4 inches to Pau, and with Brook not much of a defensive anchor, my superior skilled front court will overpower them. Not to mention, Ellis and Smith have choked in playoff situations. I think the team lacks the leadership required to contend for the next couple of seasons, and unfortunately I think Miami has got worse than in real life, with only one certified All Star among them. I would have been more worried had Melo still been around.
Finally, Detroit. A surprise package for me, I think T-Mac's team has taken the biggest step forward of all involved. A backcourt of Billups and Mayo is lethal from three, and the whole team is well balanced with 5 offensive options capable of 20 ppg. Odom is an ideal 6th man too. The only real weakness I can find is defensively in the front court. If (when) Bynum gets injured, a front court of Lee / Odom will struggle to pose an intimidating defensive presence, and even with a healthy front court, I think Pau / Duncan is fundamentally skilled enough to overpower them. They're the team I fear most in the East though.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

My Team
I am very happy with the rebuilding project that I was able to start in Cleveland. The core of my team is extremely young with a lot of potential. I don't have many bad contracts (Johnson's wouldn't be bad if I had more minutes) and I have four lottery picks coming in the next two years depending on how advanced my core is.
The Cavaliers as constructed are a very good defensive team with a couple of scoring options. Right now Hickson is my go-to-guy and I am hoping that he can take some attention away from Gordon and open up the offense. Last season when Hickson played 28 minutes or more (this happened 24 times) he averaged 19 points and 9 rebounds per game, so it isn't unreasonable to think that he could duplicate that over the coming seasons.
Terrence Williams is another player that I am extremely excited about. He is a fantastic passer and defender - and, if he develops his jumpshot enough, he could be a nightmare player. So far in the preseason he is averaging 14 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. I think that he can easily replicate this feat and even surpass it.
New vs. Old
Mo Williams/Daniel Gibson vs. Kyrie Irving/Terrence Williams
This is all dependant on how good Irving is. I think that he is on the same level as a prospect as Brandon Jennings/Steph Curry/Raymond Felton when they came out. Hopefully he can be a cornerstone of my franchise.
Old Wins
Anthony Parker/Christian Eyenga vs. Ben Gordon/Corey Brewer
My team is way more talented and younger than they were at the start of the game.
New Wins
Joey Grahm/Jamario Moon vs. Terrence Williams/LR Mbah a Moute/Kenneth Faried
Again, my team is way younger and more talented at this position.
New Wins
Antawn Jamison/JJ Hickson/Leon Powe vs. JJ Hickson/Amir Johnson/Ryan Anderson
Both teams have a ton of depth here. I like the potential of Anderson and Johnson better than Jamison's skill-set and I think that both have a good chance of being better.
Tie
Anderson Varejao/Samardo Samuels vs. Ronny Turiaf/Ryan Hollins/Ryan Anderson
Turiaf and Varejao are a wash (IMO) but my new backups steal the show.

WIN NOW & FUTURE
This team started with the big 3 and some decent filler and now has the big 6 + 1. Our frontcourt has been upgraded dramatically with the additions of Joakim Noah, Blake Griffin, and Josh Smith. The defense and passing ability between those 3 and LeBron is crazy. We will see plenty of assists, steals, blocks from those 4 players but that doesn't stop with them. Our backourt is also quite impressive in those areas with Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, and George Hill.
This team is built to run while also playing solid defense and we have guys that are exceptional at spreading the floor. It will not be easy for opposing teams to double down as we have exceptional options at every spot. The synergy of this line up is most impressive and there will be no respite when one or 2 of our starters are taking a rest. 7 players will get the bulk of the minutes but the rest of the bench will be able to get some time during blowouts or injury down time without us missing a beat.
Passing, 3 point shooting, mid range, efficiency, steals, blocks, points, defense, depth, youth, and versatility will be our calling cards. There is no team in this league we can't match up with and we have the ability to put a starting group on the floor for any occasion. Playing against a team like Portland we move LeBron to SG and roll with Smith at SF, Griffin at PF and use Monta, Hill off the pine. We have the ability for so many looks that it will be extremely hard to game plan against us.
SamBone wrote:I have a very reasonable payroll (the lowest of all winning teams!).
My $67mil payroll says 'hello'

$67mil payroll for a team like this is quite impressive. We believe Coach Riley and his assistant Spoelstra will ride this team to multiple titles and usher in a new dynasty of epic magnitude.
This team is not just built for winning now but for many years to come. LeBron is our oldest core player and will be 27 after this 2011 season and with a title under his belt. The rest of the team is even younger and we still have future assets. Maalik Wayns was our 2nd round selection and is projected as 18th and the 3rd PG in the 2011 draft. We also have Pittman, and rights to some other nice young players as well as Memphis 2012 1st if it lands in the top 12.
Our future is bright and it is already here and is built to last.
The other top teams in Portland, NOH can not say the same as they are relying on some older players to try and get 1 title. Kobe will be 33 going on 34 at end of this 2011 season and Duncan will be 36. Kobe is still great but he will not be able to matchup as easily against LeBron and Duncan is already showing decline in his game. Now we have another year under our belts so it is time for the new guys to shine and we believe it will be very sunny in Miami for years to come.
Curry/LeBron/Smith/Griffin/Noah with Ellis/Hill is what we have now but by season's end Griffin could easily take over the starting roll. This leaves our team with tons of flexibility involving future trades.
Win now, win future, low salary, flexible lineup, great coaching staff, superstars, and a great GM.
Miami Heat - The new dynasty
We already have one Finals appearance with this young team and have added Josh Smith/Monta Ellis to that crew. Domination here we come!

WRITE UP.
Why?
First of all, Obviously were not trying to "win now". We took over the best team in the league with the Lakers. They just won back to back titles and were on there way to win there third, but with that being said, this is a game. And with games, things get old. Who ever took the Lakers always finish in the top 1-3 in "win now" category, and there is no problem with that. BUT, We wanted this team to finally win the "win future" category. We like the Lakers, but went in a different direction for the sake of the game being different. Some may not like it, but i wanted a change.
We stuck to our plan through out the game, (which was very tough honestly, i hate "rebuilding, and ill never do it again!) We went on trading away the likes of Kobe, Gasol, Artest, and so on. But in the same process, we brought in very young talent, MULTIPLE draft picks, MULTIPLE draft rights, and cut over 40 MILLION dollars in salary.
We wanted to have the youngest team with the most potential while being very low on salary with tremendous depth and still being able to compete for multiple rings in the somewhat near future. We have an average age of 22.5 years old, which has to be in the top 5. A 55 million dollar salary, which is under the cap, which is something that the Lakers havent been able to say since signing Shaq. We are at least 2 deep at every position.
We feel we competed all our goals.
Overall:
We feel were are 2 players deep at every position, and even 3 deep with some. We also feel that we can play Fast effectively with Cp3 / Lee / Batum / Beas / Love or play Big effectively with CP3 / Batum / Beasley / Love / Beins. We also feel that defensively we can slow down or shut down just about any team in the league. Chris Paul is an all defensive player while Batum is a shut down wing. With 4 guys 6"11' or taller we feel we will out rebound teams also. Most of the guys we brought in a long and athletic, which will also frustrat teams. Chris Paul still maintains our star status we need being in Los Angeles, will Kevin Love is a great 2nd option. With Micheal Beasley comming of the bench we feel we have a 21 year old kid, that with his head on straight, can dominate any ones second unit with CP3 getting him the ball. We also feel that Ibaka and Batum are well on there way to being very crucial peices in our puzzle. Obviously our team runs through and with Chris Paul. He has plenty of great shooter to kick to also. Batum / Lee / Budinger / Beasley can all shoot it. We have probably one of the deepest big men rotations in the league with Love at power forward and Beindris at center, along with Beasley backing up Love and Ibaka backing up Beins. You also cant forget about Austin Daye who can play anywhere from 2 to the 4 effectively. Bayless will also give us solid minutes at both guard spots. Shannon Brown is also a guy we like with his hustle and dunks. Throughout our lineup, we know that we have very few, if any holes. This team is built strongly for the future, and with that being said, compared to most teams trying to "win future", we still have the star power that most other dont. Most teams completely blow it up, while i maintained a star and future multiple allstars.
We have a first and a second round pick in each of the upcomming drafts, as well as the rights to nine solid draft prospects. We love our future for many years to come.
Closing:
Vote for the Lakers for "Win Future"! We feel we stuck to our plan of "rebuilding" the Lakers to have a bright future. They are young, talented, deep, and hungary to prove that they have what it takes to win in the near future.

Write-up
Offense/Defense:
Our Offense will be important to the NY system, as alot of the system actually relies on offense. I made sure we had alot of scoring options on our team, with Al, Melo , Mo Will and Mags, we have plenty of offense in the team.
On Defense we were pretty bad, but I made sure we got some better defensive players, like Camby and Kurt Thomas. I have made sure we will have a strong front court, with depth and defense.
Salary/Future:
Our Salary is only a couple of million over the tax limit, and next year we are under the cap. I feel that I did a good job keeping the salary under $75M and making sure we had cap room for the next season.
Our future is alright, we have a couple of guys in there prime ( Melo, Mo-Will )and a couple of youngs guys (Bynum, Mozgov) but our squad is mainly older.
Why im better than my real life counterpart:
Right now New York is experimenting with starting Amare Stoudemire at C, which is not very good at all. My main goal was to find that interior presence (Camby) and bring some respectibility to our defense. I also wanted to maintain a relatively good cap situatuion, while bringing in talent.I also was looking for someone to build around (Melo) and give him scoring options (Al, Mo will, Mags)
I feel I have improved New York greatly, and they are better in most areas that there RL counterparts.

Writeup
Pretty much impossible to judge this team, because about a thousand guesses are involved:
-- I didn't see the 2010-11 Spurs as getting close to a championship, and decided to see what I could accomplish with a complete rebuild. If the real Spurs are better than I think, that was a big mistake. If not, getting value out of Duncan and Ginobili before they're too old to be worth much, and out of Parker before he becomes a free agent and heads for a team that can win, was just right.
-- All the new guys come with questionmarks. If Cousins and Holliday are All-Stars, as they well might be, this team has the core of a contender, with lots of talented young guys around and a vast amount of cap space to bring in free agents in 2012 and/or 2013. If Jonas Valanciunas is worth a number 4 pick, so much the better. If Cousins flames out and Holliday is a slightly-better-than-average point guard, and Valanciunas turns out to be Nikoloz Tskithishvili, yecch.
-- That said, I like the lineup a lot. Looking at the young guys who have a chance to become stars (excluding those who already are), I don't think there's a C I'd take ahead of Cousins, or a PG ahead of Holliday. And the rest of the lineup has strong defenders and excellent outside shooters, which is what you need around that combo.
-- Whatever the voters think, I look forward to checking back in about two years and seeing what I think of this lineup then. And thanks to everyone who helped run the game this time around - good job.

SUMMARY:
Personally, I love how I constructed this team. I hadn't traded that much (that's uncharacteristic of me since im a gm who likes to make trades daily) but I believe that Boston is still pretty sexy. It's one of the deepest teams in the game. My mindset was keeping the mentality of having a young team cause I believe that Boston would still be good for a handful of years before age bites into them. I was able to remain my frontcourt of Perk and KG intact, anchoring my intense defense. Throughout the process, I also got Rip Hamilton, to ease off pressure from Ray Allen and add his solid resume to the mix. C's also managed to pick up shooters like Jason Kapono and Daequan Cook to add to Ray. We also have Iverson, TJ Ford and Nate to back up Rajon. In the frontcourt, we have Matrix and Jermaine O'Neal to keep up the defensive intensity while KG and Perk rests. Overall, we believe that this is one of the best built depth teams in the game and we like our chances.
FUTURE:
People would think that this is where Boston struggles. We actually like the future ahead. We wanted to stay loyal to both Ray Allen, KG and all the other vets and join them altogether for one last push for a ring. The franchise relies upon Rajon Rondo in the future. We're also headlined by Kendrick Perkins, whom we believe would become a beast. We also have energy guys like Nate and got guys with potential like Daequan Cook and Shelden Williams.

ON THE COURT:
I FIRMLY BELIEVE IF EVERYONE ON THIS TEAM REACHES ITS FULL POTENTIAL, IT CAN BE EVEN BETTER THAN THE OKC THUNDER. JOHN WALL MAKES THIS TEAM GO WITH HIS PENETRATING AND PASSING ABILITIES. MARCUS THORNTON GETS ALOT OF WIDE OPEN 3s AS ATTENTION ON HIS WILL BE SCARCE. HARRISON BARNES BRINGS THE ABILITIES OF A DOMINANT WING PLAYER. THE WILD CARD WILL BE SPENCER HAWES. ON THIS TEAM HE HAS 2 THINGS HE NEVER HAD BEFORE. A DOMINANT PASSING POINT GUARD AND A DEFENSIVE BEAST BESIDE HIM. HE CAN FLOURISH GREATLY. THIS TEAM IS THE TEAM OF THE FUTURE AND HAD FULLY MOVED ON FROM ITS PREVIOUS PROBLEMS.
IN THE OFFICE:
I DO UNDERSTAND THAT ELTON BRAND CAN HURT MY STANDING BUT I WANNA SAY WHY IT SHOULDNT. WITHOUT GETTING BRAND, I WOULD NOT HAVE HARRISON BARNES WHO IS GOING TO BE A BREAKOUT STAR IN THE LEAGUE. BRAND PROVIDES VETERAN LEADERSHIP ON THE TEAM AND EXPIRES JUST BEFORE I NEED TO DOLE OUT EXTENTIONS.
I ALSO UNDERSTAND I PAID ALOT TO GET BARNES BUT IN HINDSIGHT I DONT TAKE IT BACK. IT WAS LIKE TRADING A BMW, MERCEDES AND A BUNCH OF TOYOTA CAMRYS TO GET A ONE IN A MILLION FERRARI ENZO. THIS OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED ITSELF TO CONSOLIDATE AND GET A GREAT RETURN AND I TOOK IT.

The plan for the year: We set out for this second part of the Mock Offseason game hoping to make a dramatic leap in stature. Unfortunately, my efforts were neutered because 95% of the opposing GMs showed a frustrating inability to take my needs into account when making offers. In the few instances that I had a sensible GM to negotiate with we just couldn't come to an agreement.
With all that being said this year with be the year that Epke Udoh becomes our starting center. He'll be bulking up a bit but not enough to significantly hinder his athleticism. Udoh is a little thin for the post for now but with additional bulk and the experience of going up against Shaq during practice the hope is that he'll at least learn to hold his own. I can't think of anyone better able to prepare Udoh in that function than Shaq. Eventually Shaq's workload will diminish in proportion to Udoh's increasing workload and so he'll eventually be moved or waived so that he can help a team more ready for title contention. Darko will probably see a minor increase in minutes as well during this time so long as he proves capable of keeping Josh Boone on the bench. But Udoh will be the key to the Warriors at center. We feel with his skill set and athleticism he'll be an offensive nightmare for other centers to deal with and with his experience battling with Shaq during practice and his innate shot blocking ability we are confident he'll at least be a decent defender as well.
We kept Chris Bosh despite everyone and their mother asking for him. We feel he is a key player for our franchise and he is someone we are building around. But one of the big complaints we had in the previous mock offseason was that Rodney Stuckey wasn't really an ideal second option and that the team didn't have a good enough shooter to keep defenses from focusing on Bosh. To that end we acquired Danilo Gallinari. Gallinari is a legit second scoring option for Bosh and a future star. Furthermore, the kid has a sweet outside shot. Bringing Gallo in takes a lot of pressure off of both Chris Bosh and Rodney Stuckey. As the third scoring option, Stuckey will be better able to develop his point guard skills. To round out the rotation we brought in veteran Michael Redd. I would have preferred someone who wasn't coming off a major injury in his most recent real life season of play but the other GMs made it impossible to get one and the free agent market was bare bones. Furthermore, I decided I needed to take a chance since no one really seemed to think much of Wilson Chandler as my shooting guard from the previous mock offseason. If healthy, will be yet another wonderful offensive option for this team.
I think my teams most glaring weakness is depth especially at the one and two spots. If Rodney Stuckey and/or Michael Redd miss time due to injury I am going to have to rely upon very green and unproven players for big minutes. I would have liked to get more help here but the few worthwhile free agents were overpaid by ghastly amounts. Luckily for me Dorell Wright can play both shooting guard and small forward so if Redd goes down he can move down there. I don't think I'd have a problem with Klay Thompson or Luke Walton picking up extra minutes at the small forward spot if that happens. Because while I love Alec Burks and think he will eventually be my starting 2 I think he's still a little raw to depend upon. I would rather lose more games and have him develop more than risk hurting his growth just to win a couple extra games. I like Patrick Mills Jr and has potential but by the 2011 season we'll probably have a good idea of whether or not he's an NBA player. I am banking that he'll prove to be a solid backup point.
Over the course of the season I think my group of unproven young guys (Epke Udoh, Alec Burks, Iman Shumpbert and Klay Thompson) will develop far enough for me to feel more comfortable with my rotation but I am going to be walking on egg shells for much of the season. Barring a huge season from a healthy Michael Redd and surprisingly quick development from one of the young guys I mentioned, this will probably be a season in which we'll take a step back rather than a huge leap forward. But that's ok. I hope we'll have better luck next season with more sensible GMs to work with.
To be continued...

Re: GM a Team 10/11 - Final Rosters and Write Ups
O.K. guys, turn out was very weak! Only 8 GM's sent in rankings (12 teams)
Some did a very good job with ranking teams and sent me a complete list like I asked for, others only ranked a few team in a few categories. Some combined EAst/West, others seperated like I asked.
Here are the grades, you can make what you want out of it.
(OKC, PHX, LaC, Miami, ORL, NO, LaL, Dal, PORT, SA, CLEV, NY) are the only teams that sent in rankings, I would knock the other teams a slot, but again, I am just giving the rankings here
Note, I am seperating East/West. Some people did not seperate (I did it for you) but note that a team like Miami and Det was ranked 5th and 6th by some GM's but I gave them a 1East and a 2East. \
Also a few people voted for Boston, I deleted those votes since they were not in the running, the 2 #1 votes that were given to boston will be given to whoever was ranked #2.
