Meh. A touch better then the standard issue "humorous" insult by Knix fans. I'll give it a 3.

thanks for excepting it in the spirit it was given. Seriously, instead of the h8, I would much rather both teams were good. That way they would talk about the tri-state area in the same vein as they do the Texas triangle.....not a good trip for visiting teams.

he's a practice signing.....your old enough to be familiar with these type of training camp signings right? :D Most teams sign scrubs to fill out their practice units pre-final cuts. I'm sure Jersey has or will make a few crap signings for preseason and practice.

Which part of the "Knicks never even tried signing Mo Ager much less sign him" are you having a problem getting? And Shawne Williams is the 16th man with a none guaranteed contract on a team with 15 guaranteed contracts. You want to do the math or should I help you? Wow, talk about reaching.

Wow Moocow. You have asked to have guys suspended for far less obnoxious posts on the Nix board. Our guys arent even allowed to disagree with your guys on your board without you saying it is disrupting the flow. Hypocrite much?

What Moocow said makes perfect sense. It was not obnoxious. Why so quick to attack his logical post? Ready? Let's do the math. The Knicks have 15 players with guaranteed contracts. If they invite Mo Ager and Shawne Williams to camp with non-guaranteed contracts, does that mean they will make the team? Perhaps one of them if we decide to waive Eddy Curry for some weird reason. But that will never happen. That's what is going on in reality for the Knicks. Mo Ager is not going to be on the team. Sorry to disappoint you guys. We can't have players like that on our team. We'd wouldn't be winning too many games. ;)

Its not his opinion that is the issue its the obnoxious, condescending way he gave it while coming to SOMEONE ELSE's board. See...on THIS board...you can have an opinion that differs from the majority of our regular contributors because we actually have quality moderators who allow some sort of latitude for debate.

On the Nix board...NO ONE is allowed to have a thought that is even remotely out of sync with the fantasy diullusional state most Nixies live under, which of course helps to explain why most fans around RealGM would consider Nix fans the most absurd to deal with. If you do express an opinion on that board that is not part of blue and orange manifesto a mod like....Moocow will not only shut it down...but will far too often ask for suspensions under the BS idea that the poster with a different idea was disrupting the flow of the thread or trying to antagonize the regular posters. Which of course is often hillarious since a quick read through of the thread is that one guy making a reasonable comment....and then being attacked in every possible way from his intelligence to his mother by 20 others. Those 20 others who go way over the top...not so much as word from Moocow or one of the other hacks as he is reprimanding that ONE guy.

We dont have many posters on our board in comparison to the Nix board but the sheer volume of clowns who come here and go way out of bounds.....it would be nice to see that Moocow would have SOME sort of consistency when one of our few want to express themselves over there since it will have such a small impact. How do you do that? How do you show you arent a GIANT HYPOCRITE?

Either...give fans from other boards some sort of latitude on the Nix board even if he disagrees with his comments. Actually HAVE some sort of real deabte and not just 50 pages of "yeah...he be great yo". Yeah."

Or, go after all POSTERS fairly. Nix fans and fans of other teams when they cross a line. Warn ALL parties. I am not saying that your regulars dont deseve some sort of hometown edge. But that board is seen by most outsiders as a joke in the way it is run and Moocow takes that same style to all boards he moderates.

But best of all? If you are going to have so much to say about outside contributors and act like some sort of sherrif from Alabama writing you a ticket for the headlight HE just smashed...at least have the decency to conduct yourself without that antagonizing condescending tone Moocow loves to use. When you wont allow it on your board...set the same example when YOU are the visitor.

Personally I dont care. I would love to see more latitude on boards. I LIKE to express myself openly and freely as well and I have no problem with some funny even nasty back and forth. BIG DEAL, it can be entertaining. I am just aware that if I want to do it...THIS is the place I am allowed. And the place that a guy like you within reason can as well. And there are a few other team boards you can do that. But if you made a list in order of where that is acceptable....NIx board would be at the very bottom. Unless of course you are a Nix fan.

So that's my point. And not that it matters. Moocow doesnt care how others see him. That's how he can continue to be a hypocrite. If he gave a damn...he would actually have to pause and consider if the complaints about him are reasonable.
