4-1 through 5 games...and we get Denver on the road next week. Denver is pass happy so we should get some picks on Orton. Excellant game! I love seeing favre have double the INTs on the season then he has TDs haha, he looks like '09 sanchez. I agree we blew a lot of opportunities in the first half that would have put this game out of reach for the vikes. Favre is a pervert, and a-hole. I hate that Gruden is stroking Favre, like what Favre did to himself in those Sterger pics. Good game though! The W is all that matters.

that series could have cost us the game.. we could have run the clock down to almost 30 seconds... that needs to be addressed and never happen again.. NEVER!!

We should also add what you mentioned before...second half adjustments. We were pathetic on nearly every team on the ball for most of the half.

Revis looks like he needs a bit of time to shake off rust that stems all the way from his holdout.

Hmm...at the very least, those long snap counts revealed which side we were bringing the pressure, leading your entire line to slide over and cover. Favre got a lot of time off those and huge gains.

Trent dilfer who has become a very good analyst, mentioned that we pretty much had our way in the trenches, on both sides of the ball. Looking at that, you would have thought this game would have been a blowout.. as I said, sanches was off a bit, probably cost us at least one TD..

Overall sloppy game by the Jets in the 2nd half. Even in the 1st half they couldn't move the chains all that much.

LT and Greene played very nicely. Greene had a good TD run. Tomlinson just ran very hard and helped us a lot.

Folk was very efficient today, wouldn't have won without him. An interesting note is that he tied the franchise record for FG's in a game. He had 5 and 2 PAT's.

Sanchez should NOT have thrown 42 times. He looked very tired in the second half.

Keller was very quiet tonight.

Edwards, Cotch and Holmes came up huge at points with big first downs and moving along.

Lowery's INT was a very well played ball, and saved our asses.

We need to stop blitzing every play. Amen

Also, I'm really worried about Revis. He looked like he was forcing himself to play. Looked very hurt and not ready. He should have sat.

Nice win, 4-1 is a great start to the season. Now I think the Jets teams in recent years would have lost this game, great teams prove themselves in ugly wins to and find a way to prevail. That's exactly what the Jets did yesterday.

The offense is looking very good and we arguably have the best offensive line in football. Slauson is getting better every game and Brick has shaken off his early season struggles and continues to pick up where he left off last year. Rushing for over 150 yards against this defensive front is just outstanding. We proved that we can truly rush it against anyone. LT looked great again.

Our receiving corps is just as legit as our run game. Braylon Edwards is doing very well since the DUI incident. Holmes will come around as he had a few drops yesterday but no concern here. We are just incredibly talented all around the board. Cotchery is our fourth option in the passing game, go figure. Sanchez was a little off but hell, the conditions were tough and they played a good defense. He didn't commit any costly mistakes and still managed to put some points on the board.

In the first half the defense looked as good as ever but as longer the game went it showed some of its weaknesses. There is absolutey no excuse for giving up touchdowns on 3rd and 16 and 3rd and 17. Just horrific! We live by the blitz and we die by the blitz. I'm fine with that and I believe that with more time we will not make such mistakes. But it is a reason for concern. Safety and speed edge rusher seem to be more and more of a need for next year.

The run defense once again was anchored by Pouha. Along with Ellis and DeVito he really controlled the line of scrimmage. The linebackers do a tremendous job flying into the gaps and we are hardly ever moved back at the point of attack.

Revis isn't a 100% and he propably wont be for a few weeks. But in the end we gotta like the fact that he can take this defense to another level whenever he gets his feet under him. Right now we lack his presence on the outside and against the pass. Cromartie is doing fine as was Drew Coleman. Quietly Rex turned him into a player.

What I like is that all three phases of our team - defense, offense and special teams - are capable of really dominating the opponent. Now we rarely have been to get every phase going at the same time but we have unbelievable potential which we should realize as the season goes on.

Oh and btw, screw Favre that bastard!
