Has been pretty good (and T.J. Ford being in street clothes), do you see Ford being practically relegated to 4th string come opening night?
Jim O'Brien likes to play fast which could well mean playing small so having a plethora of active guards might make more sense than having a plethora of active sub-par bigs (like Solomon Jones and/or McRoberts).
It's pretty fair to say, I think, that T.J. Ford won't be back next year, especially since he seems to have a standing invite to JOB's doghouse. So do the Pacers just put him on the back-burner and let his contract expire for 2011? Showcase him for a trade and save Price for after that potential trade?
What do you think?

He's the 2nd guy at the PG position right now. He will be looking to play well entering his contract year, but there's no love lost between him and the organization, so it may be a moot point.

Re: Considering Price's play this preseason
It's interesting. Because obviously we scored big when we grabbed Price in the 2nd round, and we got lucky that his recent injury appears to have healed completely and he's back in form.
But then there's the Ford thing. I think we essentially give him only garbage minutes, when a game is utterly out of reach or we're coasting to a win. It's a good idea to get him out there so some team might want him and give us anything, whatsoever, for him.
But in any game where we're competing, I expect Ford to be relegated to the bench. Inevitably either Collison or Price will have some injury, giving Ford minutes, and potentially showcasing him for trade.
Really excited about Price, think we've done some great 2nd round drafting last 2 years.

Pacers have an unguaranteed option for 2011/12. He won't be due for a qualifying offer/extension until 2012/13.

I have been very impressed with AJ's play and have always been a fan of his, even from last season
Honestly I think our point guard situation went from weak last seson to strong this season with long term stability.
In my opinion:
Collison is the starter, AJ is the primary back up, TJ is the secondary, Lance is the last man
Next year - Collison, AJ, Lance
