That's it. It finally happened. Fesenko will soon be the most dominant center in the world and we'll finally win a ship. I'm so happy.

I actually think tonight was a really good night to be a Jazz fan. Once again our bench played decent against their rotation guys. Fesenko showed signs of improvement. Al Jefferson showed definite signs of improvement. Miles looked just like he did last year in the playoffs. All of those bode well for the Jazz this season.

Jazz need to make some free throws. you wont beat a western conference playoff team missing those free throws.

Portland is SOOOOOOOOOOOO Overrated.

Anyone else listen to the radio broadcast? I thought Boone was a nice addition to the team. He and Locke work well together.

The Blazers were without 3 of their 4 centers. Besides, the Lakers lost to Barcelona, it's just an exhibition game.

Not to be rude, but if you'd watched that game it wasn't as if the Lakers didn't try.(Again, I'm not implying that you didn't, just saying) They were simply beaten, the Lakers didn't "go easy" on them. And they didn't play Bryant sparingly because it's preseason, they played him sparingly because his knee is still effed up. Barcelona deserves credit for that win.

I take it you disagree? Here are my arguments for why it works:

1) Locke lets Ron Boone finish his sentences, and if you let him actually finish a sentence he often has interesting things to say.

2) Locke calls Boone out on his factual errors.

3) They seem to have a genuinely good rapport

4) Anything that reduces the amount of Locke's voice you hear is a good thing.

Are you really stating that the Blazers should typically expect to have Oden and Przybilla healthy? Recent history would suggest that those guys being hurt is the norm rather than the exception.

Besides, even if they have Przybilla, Oden, Camby and Pendergraph you're assuming that they'd get better production than they did with Camby last night. I'm not sure that's the case.

I was at the game and while I'm not going to say if both teams were healthy that we'd have won (given our recent history) I can say that when 6-8 220lb backup Dante Cunningham was guarding Fesenko it didn't go too well. It's not that Oden or Przybilla would have had better production then Camby (although if playing oden definitely would), it's that with one of them available we'd always be able to have a true center playing instead of relying on PF's. Fesenko is a big boy and made the most of it tonight.

Pryzbilla is on track to be back a week or so after the regular season starts and Oden will hopefully be back mid-December so it'll help having some size back in the middle

yah i saw Przybilla coming back. They will probably give each of them some time. The blazers have alot of bigs. If they can stay healthy they could be a tough out in the Playoffs. I still think its us and the Thunder for the division this year. God please let Fes carry this into the season! Good to see Jefferson getting some points too. I wish they had cameras at this game so i could see an image of Fes taking over.

Apart from Watson the guys who missed the free throws are players you would expect to miss free throws.
