Sounds like Rodgers should be fine. Hopefully Clay will be fine too.
Get a win, make it out of the game injury-free and get some guys back for Minnesota. Then all of a sudden, we're not in bad shape.

I really hope the Cowgirls beat the Queens next week. 1-4 would mean the Queens could probably only lose 3 more games the rest of the season and still have a shot at the playoffs.

If Minnesota loses to Dallas, I think we'd see vintage Favre at Lambeau the following week...throwing balls into double or triple coverage and trying to get 21 points in one play.
Wouldn't it be sweet to knock them to 1-5 in front of a national audience? Feels weird saying it, but go Dallas.

Honestly, compared to the Vikings it's like rooting for the Packers.

Exactly. My active disliking of the Cowboys isn't even in the same universe as my hatred for the Vikings.

My hatred for the Cowboys and Vikings is on about the same level. The Vikings are in our division though, so I am a Cowboy fan for one week.

Vikings are by far my most hated team in all of sports, and I hate the Cubs about as much as someone can hate anything.

Not sure if anybody has compiled this, but somebody said last week that we could field an entire defense with the injuries we've had... Not really a stretch if you include Jolly.
DL: Jolly, Pickett, Harrell
LBs: Jones, Chillar, Barnett, Matthews (although he probably won't miss time so it might not be fair to put him here)
DBs: Harris, Shields, Burnett, Bigby

I hate the Cowboys, Vikings, Lakers, Yankees and now the Heat about as much as a sports fan can hate a team. Like I said, I will side with the Cowboys because I have to... Not because I want to.

I really have no problem with the Cubs considering I root for the Brewers to lose. I don't like a majority of Brewers fans, players, the owner or really anyone in management. It's hard to root for a team when you like pretty much nothing about them other than their stadium being within an hour of your house.

No offense, but that is just really bad rationale. If you want Melvin gone fine (I'm in the same boat at this point), but to openly root against them is really stupid.

I really don't consider myself a Brewers fan anymore. That's probably why. I just hate them, I cannot really explain it. I hate everything about the team and the organization. I watch the games and I find myself wanting them to fail.
I could deal with the Bucks when they were bad for so long, I never found myself rooting against them or disliking them. Same with the Packers. I don't know, the Brewers, the ownership... Everything about them just rubs me the wrong way.
So there is no real reason to be a fan of them any more. I'll still probably post over there from time to time though, just like jerrod posts here even though he follows the Ravens.

+1 to both of your posts sadly. I love Miller Park, but that's really the only thing I like about the team. I've considered finding a new team but I don't even know how to approach that since I've never done anything like that before with sports. Plus I have way too much Brewers crap.

Yeah, it's just really sad.

I used to love the Brewers too. I don't know why I hate them so much. I love the Bucks and the Packers, I don't ever think I could feel that way about them.
I'm just sick of the owners crap, the GMs crap, the constantly crap coaches, the annoying/underachieving players, the bitching about stupid **** like light being in their eyes.
I just hate the Brewers.
I was also thinking of following the Reds, since my grandfather and my dad grew up watching them and that's always been kind of their 'second team', but I just cannot bring myself to do it. I have just determined that baseball is dead to me. I will watch it to root against the Yankees, that's about it.

I just hate baseball because it seems like even if everything breaks right the Brewers still have no chance to win because the Yankees are fielding the AL All Star Team.

I thought so to, especially about Matthews. We really really really need him to be ready to go for the Vikings game.
If he can't play vs the Vikings, it's going to be hard to get any sort of consistent pressure on Brett. Given there are so few other natural pass rushers besides Matthews and Jenkins on the defense, if Matthews can't play, i could easily see Capers going to a lot of just three man rushes because he'll think sending 5-6 without Matthews won't get home often anyways.
I don't like the thought of Brett having all day to throw, but the more i've watched Capers, the less of a risk taker i think he is compared what i thought he was when coaching other teams. He won't blitz much unless he's very confident they'll get to the QB.
With Clay on the field, he often causes so much chaos that he frees up other pass rushers/blitzers to also create pressure. If Matthews misses a few games though and Capers sends some early blitzes in those games that don't come close to getting home, i can really see him getting very conservative.
