Hi all. I'm the commish of a 14 team yahoo roto keeper league (standard scoring categories), going into its 5th season. This is an extremely active and competitive league. We are seeking 3 replacement managers. Draft is next Sunday, October 17th, at 8:00 PM EST. I'll post the league rules here, followed by the three available teams.

If you are interested in taking over a team, please send me a PM, stating your fantasy experience, your email address that you use for yahoo leagues, and which team you'd like to adopt.

KEEPER RULES

-Each team keeps 3 players + 1 rookie

-Players are kept according to the round they were drafted in the previous year. ie. if i drafted a player in the 10th round this year, he'll count as a 10th rounder next year if kept.

-After a player is kept one season, their round value increases for each subsequent year they are kept (+1 increase for 2-5th rounders, +2 rounds for 6th-10th rounders, and +3 for 11th+ rounders). This rule will only come into effect after this season is complete and players enter their second seasons of keeper eligibility. 1st rounders don't increase (obviously) and can be kept indefinitely, or until their owner decides not to keep them (and they go back into the draft pool).

-Free agent pickups can be kept at the cost of the final round in the draft.

-In cases of round value ties, the second player takes the next available draft slot (ie. if I want to keep two 9th rounders, one slides into the 10th slot with no penalty)

I've spent HOURS perfecting the scoring... I've referenced competing ideas on the actual worth of certain events on the basketball court (John Hollinger's PER-related principles, as well dissenting/competing ideas) and drawn on my own knowledge of the game (I've played competitively for most of my life) to really design a logical, intuitive way for the scoring to value players.

I want at least 14 teams in this league, but I will make the league larger if I'm contacted by enough qualified individuals.
