Things to do / see in LA ?

Post#1 » by billy_21 » Tue Oct 12, 2010 10:25 pm

Hey guys, i'm from Aus and going to be in LA in about 2 weeks and just wanted to see what are some things to do / see in LA that i might not have heard about from websites / internet etc?

i'm going to universal studios and already got my tickets to the lakers v grizzlies game on nov 2nd :)

i'm looking at doing some shopping for some clothes, shoes etc... if anyone can give me some ideas where to go that'll be good...

thanks guys

In-N-Out:

3x3 Combo:

Burger (Animal style)
Fries Light Well
Drink of your choice (I usually go with Chocolate/Vanilla shake or the Pink Lemonade)
side of chilies

depends on how much u want to spend and what kind of shoes u want:

if you're a collector of sneakers:

SportieLA on Melrose
Flight Club
Undefeated
House of Hoops in Beverly Center
Two shoes stores around Little Tokyo Square

if you're on a tight budget and still want brand name clothes, check out the Camarillo Outlets...just keep driving North up the 101.

if you're really really are on a tight budget, want to negotiate price, and don't mind knockoffs....try Fashion District , it's also near Little Tokyo.,..or Chinatown on Broadway (it's not too far driving wise from Staples Center).

If you like roller coasters, check out Six Flags Magic Mountain (purchase your tickets online for cheaper prices).
