Is it just me, or did Devin's neck get bigger? Maybe the weight training paid off?

BTW, is that Knight's wife? She's tight.

Holy crap Morrow is an awful defender. Nets not paying attention to those back cuts again. On that cut by Martin he was SOOOO wide open that i thought the initial pass from the side was going to him, but one the same cut it managed to 1st get to Yao and THEN to Martin.

Even the commentators are saying Twitt likes to shoot.

Lopez has looked great so far in preseason, but it looks like he still likes to drive into the middle on the floor and force a shot surrounded by 4 players.

Starters were able to hang with the Rox, bench got blown out.

Twitt offensive foul on a driving "lay-up" attempt. Also, those that are in love with his passing, try to look past the fancy dribble and the crisp zip on the pass and pay more attention to what actual shot it gets his teammate, i dont see many lay-ups.

I've watched a few Rockets games this preseaon and 1 guy that is much better then i thought is Chuck Hayes. He is a very good passer and also actually has a few post moves. I though he was just useless on offense and just a defender. Also much slimmer then i remember him.

Twill is actually the only one scoring for us right now. Not that it matters we can't stop the Rockets from scoring.

Petro blows. Should not be the main back-up for Brook. Terrible signing by Thorn. Favors 15ft jumper looks like Shaq shooting a 3 pointer with the shot clock running down.

Lopez guarded by Jeffries! Even though Jordan Hill is in the game too. 1st play Brook scores. Next play Jeffries fronts, Brook cant hold his position, cant get open, next dont come back to him since 4 or 5 possessions (even though he was set up for a dunk and got it blocked by HIll).

To reiterate what i was saying about Twitts passing. Nice drive Rox defense scramble, Favors open for a dunk under the baseket, Morrow open for a 3 with a defender between the 2, Twitt jumps in the air and guess who he passes to.

Wow, this is just sad.

Brook trying to post Jeffries, Rox run Battier at him right away travel.

Shot of Avery on the bench looking pissed talking to Mitchell.

Next possession, same play, double again, Avery calls time out right away.

Jeffries and Patterson score easily on Brook.

They actually trapped Lopez pretty well there. Wanted to see someone rotate to his side to help him out . Also, you always seem to find a way to criticize Twill although if he wasn't scoring in this game we'd probably be down by 20.

Either way I can tell Outlaw and Petro are 2 guys I'm really gonna hate this season. They're both terrible and overpayed especially Outlaw...

Half time.

Brook had to deal with 3 hard doubles, all from Jefferis and Battier. What he tried to do is set through them every time, 1 travel, 1 time out by pissed Avery, and 1 foul on Battier.

Twitt shot happy as usual. 11 shots just 1 trip to the line. 2 turnover (1 offensive foul, 1 horrible force pass off a drive, both his fault). He is hitting the shots to his credit.

Rockets are too good for the Nets imo.

Also, as of right now it looks like Graham and Petro are in the rotation ahead of Humph and James. I hope this is just pre-season process of evaluating everyone because i thought our bench is suppose to be better this year. I'd take Hayes and Boone over those 2, hell i' take CDR (maybe not).

I already hate Petro. Outlaw has not impressed but for some reason i'm willing to give him more time to adjust. He is playing a new role on this team, Petros role is pretty easy and he pretty clearly sucks at it.

I guess they deserve some credit for making a game out of it.

Pretty legit game so far too, not 3rd stringers.

Yep figured they'd give Yao a bit more than 12 minutes in this game too..Gotta give the fans something to cheer for.

Did a good job to get back into it in the 3rd qtr but let it slip away again in the 4th. Brook and Harris were decent, Twill was good in the first half but kept chucking and missing in the 2nd...Everyone else was nonexistent or sucked.

Chucker Twitteville.

I said it was not a good sign the 1st time it (20 shots) happened way back at the end of last season. Twitt is now a legit chucker. Was 9/13 finished 0/7. If i'm not mistaken all 9 makes were floaters/jumpers not 1 made lay-up. Horrific finisher. 1 trip to the line in 20 shot attempts.

On a positive note he only had 2 turnovers. Then again, he too busy being a chucker, not trying to make plays at all, just 1 assist.

Its also sad at how low our standard for the 3r overall pick are. He looks incompetent on offense, like someone who doesn't play basketball at all. But hey, he didnt foul out, all we want him is to play defense and not foul out right? Well he did that, so Favors had a good game.

T-Will doesn't wait for the offense to get in a flow, he's also faster than the move he wants to make. He's beating himself nine out of ten times. He'd miss those shots even if there was no one there to guard him. Didn't try to get the others involved. Not the type of guard play you want with a young rookie on the floor.

We all know he has the skill, he just needs a good beating.
