When Skiles got on Tiny's case at the scrimmage, I made the below pic but thought it was a bit much. Now that he really has gone ...

Damn it. I was fairly disappointed reading this yesterday. I still have confidence though, considering he has a tendency to underrate his form (the back injury is a great example).

Interesting mention today in the JS that Bogut will be wearing some kind of glove and elbow pad combination when he plays. I suppose that is to be expected but it will be crucial to see if that hinders him at all going forward.

Words can't express how badly I want to see Tiny's jorts.

No seriously someone get on twitter and ask him to take a pic of them. That would be amazing.

So, now Sanders is injured? Grrr. Would be nice to see some official time tables on these things.

Any possibility that ANY of these players will be back for Thursday?

And I'm starting to think that Salmons' injury is worse then they're letting on.

Bucks Milwaukee Bucks
Andrew Bogut hopes to return Saturday vs. Memphis. He said the Bucks trainers think he can go 6-10 minutes Saturday. Reports @cf_gardner

Bogut shoots for Saturday
By Charles F. Gardner of the Journal Sentinel

Oct. 13, 2010 2:58 p.m. |(3) Comments

St. Francis - Bucks center Andrew Bogut stayed after practice Wednesday and put up 150 shots, working hard on right hand.

He was sporting a black protective wrap on his right elbow and hand that he will wear in games to give him some protection from taking any hits in those areas.

And he sounded optimistic after the session, saying he thought he would return Saturday at Memphis and try to play some time in back-to-back games against the Grizzlies and Timberwolves.

"The trainers are talking about playing 6 to 10 minutes on the first night and up to 12 on the second night," Bogut said. "Then the week after 20-plus minutes."

Bogut said his right index finger and elbow are feeling better after he was held out out of the team's first three exhibition games.

"It was kind of a silver lining that I got some more rest for my elbow and I got some more fluid out of it," Bogut said. "It's still not perfect but it's definitely 10 times better than it was in training camp.

"I almost was going to have it (the elbow) drained in the summer because I had so much fluid, but the physio I worked with did a great job and got it out without a needle. I thought for a while I might have to have a needle take it out because my elbow was so swollen."

Bogut was most excited about doing the extra shooting and said the protective wrap did not impede his right-handed shot.

"That's the first time since I've had my arm injury that I put up 100 shots without taking a break," Bogut said. "Before I'd take 10 or 15 but then I'd get tired. I'm excited to finally be able to work on my shot and work on my game."

Bucks coach Scott Skiles said Carlos Delfino returned to practice Wednesday, while center Jon Brockman continued to sit out due to a sprained left ankle. Brockman will miss the Bucks' three-game pre-season swing which opens Thursday at Washington and continues at Memphis and Sunday against Minnesota in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Delfino missed the last two pre-season games with an injured right big toe.

"I'm ready to go," Delfino said. "I'll try to play tomorrow (against Washington). I feel OK. I prefer to play. I feel a little irritation there but I know I'm going to have that for a while. The nail takes six months to get back so I'm going to live with that."

Skiles said he should have more flexibility with lineups during the road trip.

"Just getting Carlos back; Carlos is such a key player for us," Skiles said. "Considering everything that's going on, with all the guys missing and everything, we've played fairly well. So we've just got to try to get our guys back and we've got two weeks to do it.

"In an ideal world for the last couple games or maybe even the last game, we'd have everybody and see what it looks like. We certainly don't want to do anything with John (Salmons) that would cause any sort of setback. He's making good progress as well."

Salmons has been unable to practice since the start of training camp due to a sprained right knee.

"If he can get in one (exhibition game), great," Skiles said. "If he can't, then he can't. We'll just see what happens."

If you want to see Bogut put up some shots and wearing the protection for his hand then just look at the Paschketball video on Bucks.com for today. He's in the background for a good portion of it.

Thanks. Seldom check that site.

The arm apparatus doesn't look all too bad actually. His shot doesn't look so good, but then again it never has.

Ha ha yeah he clanged a few off the front of the iron, but if it was his first time shooting 100+ shots since last year he was probably tired. The arm thing looks much better than I expected.

I will probably get blasted for this comment but from what I have seen thus far, Larry Sanders seems to have a much better looking shot than Bogut.. and I believe he has more potential to be a consistent shooter than what I have seen from Bogut thoughout the years.
