blame it on the high elevation out there in MX.

I'm sick & tired of watching Kaman turning over the ball. It's incredible.

Annoying result but im not worried about it, from the highlights/stats and what you guys have said, it seems things are all positive besides Foye's game and not seeing the rooks out there (not sure why Aminu didn't get more time)
Love seeing Baron back out there with the no look to Kaman on the break, alley oops to set up Griffin and Jordan, and most of all, looks as if he didn't take any silly shots or force anything. Good to see Butler step up as well, after all it was the one posession that lost us the game (hate to point out the obvious) but im happy with the game, we would've had it.

Man, what a game. It was great to see an entire Clippers game from start to finish. The first half was beautiful. Second half, not so much. The third quarter included terrible shot selection, and the fourth, well it seemed to have too many unforced turnovers for my liking. If at least one of them did not happen... And smh at the final play.
And what to say about Foye's shot selection? Sometimes I wasn't sure if that was the 09 Baron out there. And I hate to admit it, but Cook looked decent out there at times. And Griffin really knows how to play with people's emotions. The way he was flying and falling all over the place, I'm not sure I could've taken too much more of that.
DJ had a good start, but I'm not sure why he didn't get more minutes. Butler had a sweet game, and Gordon looked pretty aggressive out there too. Even Baron looked pretty good out there. That was funny when he was on a fast break, and just decided to fling it carelessly behind him. I guess he didn't see the Spurs player there too. Luckily, the ball ended up getting knocked out by a Spurs player, or else it could've been a turnover.
All that being said, it's preseason. The fact we had the Spurs on the ropes for most of the game, and that we lost because of a last second 3 by some rookie (or whoever he was), isn't that bad.

CLIPPERS delay practice til 2pm after return from Mexico City. Blake Griffin out on the court and looking good despite fall in game L.night.

Just some thoughts about last night's game. We had a great 1st half but the 2nd half sucked. I'm glad that Griffin is OK after falling. I think since Griffin is so athletic he may just be all over the place and may take hard falls from time to time. I wish that we would have played the bench more, don't know what was going through VDN head. We may have had a poor 2nd half due to Mexico City being high in elevation. Maybe our guys were just tired and it is the preseason. I hope we see what was in the 1st half in the upcoming season.

I think the high altitude (7200 feet) does need to be taken into consideration. I'm sure the starters were pretty tired in the second half. We have not been able to run our regular rotation in preseason due to injuries and playing sitting out, but the minutes could have been distributed better. Foye jammed his wrist, DJ tweaked a hammy and Rhino was already sitting out. I would have preferred that Blake and Kaman received more rest, but they were pretty much forced to log so many minutes with the injuries and Collins not playing.
