Think Quarless is going to surprise a lot of people.

I don't think we'll miss Finley as much as many think. Obviously it hurts... But we have some legit replacements at TE. (Quarless, Lee, Crabtree)

My only concern for Quarless is that he has shown in little playing time that his hands/catching ability aren't quite where Finley's are. Athletically he looks the part and I think the hands can come around with time, he just seems a little timid and unsure and drops some things that should be caught, again all things that make me very excited for his future but a little concerned for this immediate season. Maybe he will take this opportunity to step in as a motivator and step it up a notch, I would love to see it, I really do love his future potential for sure.

Well I don't expect him to be Finley or even close to that.

I do think he is capable of having some big games though. He is also a big enough target to be a factor in the red zone.

I think with Jennings/Driver/Jones/Nelson and then Quarless, we still have a very good set of receiving options. I would still say that's in the top 10 in the NFL.

100% agree, most of my concerns with Quarless stem from a lack of experience/confidence, etc... I have high hopes for him as he develops and have loved what I've seen so far.

I don't think Jermichael is going to have much of a choice in this. No way can the Packers hold open a roster spot for him considering all of the other injuries and Bigby and Harris coming back. He is done for 2010.
