I liked how everyone played last night! I think Watson proved to be the right guy as the back up PG. I wouldnt mind him playing with DWILL at times durign the game. Price earns his place with the team and needs to stay. Gaines has talent but he belongs with a ball hog dumb team like the GS Warriors or the Phoenix Suns. Gaines needs to be cut. Jeffers works as hard as anyone but the lack of height and ability to get his shot off are bad, so he needs to be cut. He should be on an NBA team somewhere but the Jazz are too deep at the wings. Hayward is what he is which is a player too young playing with a lack of confidence. Even Haywards team mates seem to lack confidence in him. He needs to grow up fast, and demand the ball more often, because the ability is there. The Jazz should lock up Fess if he shows the same type of play as pre-season in the regular season.

The one guy on the team starting to get on my nerves is Francisco Elson. Doesnt seem too excted to be here. Basically, he just here to make some bank. I would mind the Jazz cutting him once Memo comes back. Hopefully he helps out a little bit, but he seems like a waste of money and a roster spot.

Agreed, how dare he have an injury that prevents him from playing in the preseason. This guy has no commitment whatsoever.

It not so much that he has not played in the pre-season as his interviews seems like a guy not to happy to be here. I hope i am wrong. Only the coaches know for sure how he is in practice.

I think he's just a super, super low-key guy. I haven't gotten a "**** this" vibe from him.

What was Jefferson's defense like? Seems like people here are surprised Jefferson can score.

He's a 3rd tier center, 34 year old center from the Netherlands on his last leg.

He was cheap, he's not totally worthless, and he's a solid locker room presence for a guy like Fes. he's a stop gap, not a piece for the future.

Those kinds of things make me think he has a chance in this league, but he needs to figure out how to do that consistently.

It's funny you mention that, because JUST before that sequence I was thinking to myself: "Dammit, I'm not sure this kid is an NBA player. The game seems to fast for him." And then he had that nice little sequence to give me a little hope.

I think Elson's whole demeanor has been an immense detriment to the entire franchise. I mean, just look at the hot dog sales last night. They were P I T I F U L.
