i don't understand why gentry keeps throwing in 3rd stringers who won't make the team.... he should be working on actual lineups and rotations

@Grumpy: The chemistry is off. For everyone. Without great cohesion, this team is going to suck. And the starters haven't been fantastic. My outlook for this team will change if they are still disorganized by January.

I misread your meaning - I think we're going to be okay.

I would like to see us go after Wilson Chandler though - NY wants to move him , apparently. He'd be nice at the 4. But we'd have to give up Clark or Gawal to do it and Id hate to see that -

I just want the real season to start, i suppose

But don't they want a starting sg for Chandler? How do we accomplish that by giving them EC or Lawal? And if that actually worked, wouldn't he be just another tweener behind the two other ones we have playing the four? :dontknow:

I am not ready to give up on Clark, and I haven't even seen Lawal get good burn on this team to make any judgements on him.

^ Chandler is a 3, but has the ability to guard 2's, 3's, and 4's.

Chandler or Fernandez?

I'd go with Chandler.

Chandler every day of the week. Rudy Fernandez may be a little more athletic and spectacular, but at least Chandler has nailed the fundamentals on both sides of the court.

I agree. I'm laughing at the Knicks trying to throw Chandler at Portland for Fernandez. Fernandez wants to play starter minutes but he's much better suited as an off the bench scorer like LB.

Hell, send them JRich. We'd have to take back Curry but he's an asset now.
That would really give us some young muscle, no?

Yeah. my feeling exactly - I'd hate to let either of these guys go - Clark is like Diaw though, keeps showing stuff and then , pffft

Play on the court>opinions before you even play. I thought we signed him for too much, but I can see this potentially being a good signing for us if he starts. A lot of the displeasure for the warrick signing was because Lawal was showing signs.

No I liked the signing. Warrick is like Amar'e, and he'll be a great player with Nash. Oh and for some reason that beard makes me hawt.
