Hornets sign Joe Alexander

And per Wojnarowski another one has been added....

Alexander was the 8th overall pick in the 2008 draft to the Bucks. He impressed Hornets front office and coaches in recent workout.

I was hoping that the Bulls would give him another shot to make their team - but they showed absolutely no interest in keeping Joe.

I think the Hornets may be looking at him as an uptempo undersized power forward, they have a glut of small forwards right now, I hope he makes the team though either way.

I'm not sure that I would say it is looking "good", but it has the potential to be good at least.

Great pick up for the Hornets. Playing with CP3 is the perfect opportunity for Joe Alexander. He's a Shawn Marion type of player and needs to play with a good distributor. If he can't get some run in this situation it's a wrap for his career.

As a side note this has pretty big video game implications as 2k11 is coming out soon and while being a bust thus far in real life Joe is a beast in the game.
