Pacers vs Hornets

Post#1 » by 8305 » Sat Oct 16, 2010 4:48 am

Took in tonights game. Another win but I don't think New Orleans is going to be very good.

There was a nice stretch in this game when Tyler Hansbrough was an absolute beast. Really nice to see. McRoberts looked pretty good too. Based on tonight, we will be fine at the power forward. We may not even miss Murphy. Foster looked better tonight. Don't think O'Brien will be complaining about Foster and Hansbrough after this game.

Hope Granger just tweeked his ankle.

Paul George had a nice game.

Hibbert struggled with his shot and Collison seemed to turn the ball over too much.

Hansbrough only really scored when Joe Alexander was guarding him. Collison and Hibbert were having good games until Granger got hurt. Dunleavy still can't play D. Dahntay Jones was bad. Collison hit his 3's. Ariza looked good.

I can barely remember beginning of last season when D. Jones was our 2nd leading scorer - he has really dropped off.

Even if it was Joe Alexander, hopefully 19 pt. performance gives Hansborough a nice confidence boost. Collison is going to take some time to get the level we know he can hit. He is still just entering his second year and has not had too much time with team.

on Friday, Hansbrough was himself and not the timid version we say Wednesday. that was a relief. whether 55 and 32 are good enough to give us a solid 4 slot, is still up to question, but I'm not in the win now mode the coach and Bird seem to be so I'm happy with given them the PT over a veteran role player as part of rebuilding. I hope they don't give too many minutes at 4 to Granger and Posey.

I'm impressed with McRobert's improvement. Willing to play with this group for awhile.
I agree with Wizop in hoping to keep our 3s out of the paint.

A small trade of two for one or one for a pick to free up a spot is all I am hoping for until the trade deadline later this season.

Alexander barely played. At least once Tyler threw one of his baby hook shots over Okafor.
