Only saw some of the game, but wow were the Sabres running all over the Hawks in the first period. Finally a home victory, even though they played awful down the stretch with all those penalties.

Not sure I've ever seen 'incidental contact' disallow a goal - would like to read how that's described in the official rules. I could understand if it was a Hawks player tangled in the goalies' equipment but one of his own players ????

It happened a couple of times last year but it was because it was a Hawk (pretty sure Byfuglien both times) pushed into the goalie by one of the opposition.
