Yeesh, this game doesn't feel good to me. Gimmicky things like the wildcat seem to eat us up, I worry that we have the beef to match-up well with Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams, and although Fasano doesn't scare me, Brandon Marshall and Davone Bess against this patchwork secondary do. That being said, we are going up against Chad Henne, who, despite some decent preseason hype, still looks a lot like he did coming out of michigan. If we can stop the running game, Henne won't beat this team.

Regardless, I just want to see Arodge looking fluid and making sound decisions. For these next few weeks we have an advantage as teams will underestimate quarless a bit and I think he'll have a few surprising 12-20yd completions to help sustain drives.

The running game still frustrates me, and I really hope we can see some Nance this week. Otherwise, I will continue to pray to my shrunken apple head Mike Sherman voodoo doll that Teddy springs for a deal. Amidst the much appreciated buzz from Iceness that Teddy approached the browns about James Davis, I remain optimistic that we still might get a competent back in here. Brandon Jackson is nothing but a 3rd down back, and John Kuhn is no Tolbert/Hillis. IMO, this week will decide if we should push the chips in and proceed as a team that wants to win it all in spite of the injuries. If we are 4-2 and add a Deangelo Williams type (from a Panthers team that is struggling something fierce), we can still go far in the wide open NFC. If this team falls to 3-3, well, let's see what we have in Starks and Nance and focus on getting Shields, Quarless, Bulaga, et al. as much experience as they can this season and give the NFL hell next year.

Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post gives us the rundown on the Miami Dolphins:

1. So the Dolphins got pummeled at home by a mediocre Patriots team, what's the deal?

Two first-half interceptions and a nuclear melt-down on special teams will do that. The Dolphins pooped their pants on national TV in consecutive weeks. Doesn't bode well for the coaching staff, especially after that 2-0 start.

2. Who is the one Dolphins player most Packers fans don't know right now, but will by the end of the game on Sunday?

Davone Bess -- Wes Welker with dreadlocks. His 130 catches in his first two NFL seasons set a new Dolphins record, and he's been a first-down machine this year (13 of 21 catches have gone for first downs).

3. What is the Dolphins' biggest weakness on offense?

Chad Henne. "The Robot" doesn't have much pocket awareness and tends to lock onto receivers. His 86.3 QB rating is decent, but he has 4 interceptions his last two games, and Dolphins are 1-4 when he throws for 300 yards.

4. What is the Dolphins' biggest weakness on defense?

The pass rush has been terrible the past two weeks, with the Dolphins applying little to no pressure against Mark Sanchez and Tom Brady. The Dolphins have also had a lot of problems covering tight ends this year -- Shiancoe and Keller both had big games -- but Channing Crowder's return to the lineup may solve some of that.

5. Dolphins win on Sunday if....

Henne doesn't turn the ball over. He wasn't great against Buffalo or Minnesota, throwing for 296 yards and just one touchdown through the first two games, but he didn't turn the ball over and the Dolphins, not coincidentally, won both times. The Dolphins need to grind this one out and keep the score low. If it turns into a shootout, advantage: Packers.

Hochuli used to be the best ref, IMO. But the past couple of years he's made some real bonehead calls, some have cost teams games. I don't want a close game decided by him.

This is the most important game of the first half of the season.

This will be a very good test of McCarthy's abilities to see if he can get this offense in gear. No Finley is no excuse.

Now the defense is a different matter. They just need to hold on for dear life.

Going to the bar now with cautious optimism. Have to tone it down a little after last weeks letdown in DC...

Henne is so bad and shouldn't even be a starting QB in the NFL. Davone Bess and Brandon Marshal are scary but Henne throwing the ball makes them alot less scary. I think Ronnie Brown will have the most impact for the Phins today.

I see this as a must win game. Packers lose this game I think its gonna be really hard to make the playoffs. Be nice to see Jennings accually show up this season. And hopefully Nelson gets more PT.

I thought Pickett's injury was minor. Hopefully the defense doesn't play like they did without Matthews last time, kept doubling Jenkins and pass rush went no where.

If we pick Hughes in the 1st to shore up the LBs, we don't have Bulaga who is now starting for Tauscher. We are so banged up across the board that even the deepest team in the league would be suffering.

It's going to really hurt to have Matthews out but hopefully this will be the only week he misses. This is a chance to really see what this team is made of. We are really going to need AR and the rest of the offense to step up and start clicking even without Finley. If we could get a win no matter how ugly it would be the biggest win of the season.

What the hell are you talking about??? I am talking why they aren't going to win today in regards to the d-line...the OLB spot, i put that right in your face, Mr. Brad Jones lover, he sucks, as does Poppinga...Thompson is an epic fail at not upgrading that spot.
