His knee is no secret to anybody but his attitude as far as Half Stepping in practice and on the Field is whats the bigger issue.

I think the Bears players and staff are getting tired of him Half Stepping using his knee as an excuse.
I think Peppers also wanted someone that will give a better effort upfront next to him.
Tommy is bringing little to no pressure and for the amount of money he's being paid, that's unacceptable.

I say IF Tommy can't bring the Heat and overall better play (If he gets another chance) then just let whoever starting in his place or another Rookie get a chance to play till we can find another DT.

Warren Sapp has offered to let Tommie work out with him and Tommie has blew him off. Then Tommie lets himself get videotaped doing one of his workouts, and he looked gas within the first minute. If you ask me he's used his injury as a crutch and now he's not working hard either. Or he's just lost the hunger to be great in general.

Yeah it sucks about what happened to him, but its time to move on, and the coaches have vouched for him in the past, but apparently they must be done making excuses for his on field play as well.

The vibe surrounding Harris is that he is being kinda Lazy and Half-Stepping.
We know about his knee, however if he's slacking off in practice and geting winded out there, that has nothing to do with your knee. (which was said to be feeling better by the way)

Not being able to tell how hurt he is to warrent missing practice, sitting out practice, looking to get off the field after doing any little thing positive.

I read an ESPN article the other day, it said that Harris has been under-performing for 3 years...at what point is he no longer under-performing and we realize that his performance sucks?

This guy spends a majority of the game either on his belly or on his back. On almost every play he's either knocked down right away, belly flops, or falls over. Teams are no longer having to double-team him, so he has become effectively useless.
