I can imagine losing a game like this and still being a contender in an alternate universe. You lack an imagination if you can't.

NO ONE should blame TT. You're naive if you do.

Why are you guys so impressed by what Lynch did? Maybe since I only watched a few plays of that game I missed something. I saw a fairly wide open1 yard TD run and ran 17 times for 44 yards. Did I miss some clutch conversions of 3rd and short or something?

lmao@did a caller on 1250 just say AJ Hawk would be a better player if he hit the weight room more and improved his strength.

You're naive if you blame him for this year's mediocrity.

But you're also naive if you think the team he built is ready to even sniff championship glory on the flip side. Although it was nice to see the team he built in 2008 (with all Probowlers coming from the previous regime) sniff that glory.

Seriously, though, not really on TT right now. To me this was a MM test game. And notwithstanding one beautiful move by Jennings, he failed. Again.

If the Packers were healthy and well coached they would steam roll through the NFC.

That's what really sucks.

Yeah, it's real naive to think that if healthy, this team is likely undefeated right now. Seeing as how they have been decimated by injuries and have lost all three games by a combined nine points. Real naive.

TT doubters don't know logic, so I shouldn't be surprised.

The last four weeks we've run the ball (with our RBs) only 61 times. We've passed the ball 141 times.

We are throwing the ball 70% of the time. That is insane.

How the hell are we blaming injuries when we lost the last 2 games by 6 points, AND a lot of the subs (Bishop, Peprah) played well!

This is on MM.

Only beef I have with TT is P, KR and Oline.

Agree 100% and said something similar in the game thread. Our offense had the ball with a chance to win the game and went three and out. Rodgers earlier botched the pass to Nelson that would have give us a 1st and goal (we ended up settling for a FG).

The offense has often been pretty good but, given the talent we have, it ought to be great. That is supposed to be our strength that is going to win us games, so far that has not happened.

Same can be said of Rodgers. He has been solid but nowhere near the guy I thought would establish himself this season as one of the top 2 or 3 QB's in the NFL.

Boy these heartbreakers are getting old.

Considering the injuries on the defensive side of the ball, they're playing reasonably well. Absolutely no pass rush, but still stuffing the run and at least attempting to defend the pass. Charles Woodson is not playing nearly as well as last year.

The last two games fall directly on MM and the offense. This offense should be able to score on people at will. Sure, we don't have that playmaker on offense that can make something out of nothing (Djax/Marshall/Dwill), but those guys don't grow on trees.

Please stop complaining about Marshawn Lynch - the guy is not better than Brandon Jackson. Period. The guy has never rushed for more than 8 TD's or 1100 yards in a season. He would not be helping this team right now, because we even attempting the run the ball anyways.

I'd love to see how many times that's out of the shotgun too. Not even a threat of a run. I'm watching the cowboy vikings game and it's like watching a differen sport when Jones and Barber hit the hole compared to Jackson and Kuhn. Lynch for a 3rd would of been a godsend.

Rodgers has still played solid. He's running for his life most dropbacks though. Bulaga has been hot trash the last 6 quarters. LOL at whoever said the Pack Oline is worse than the Bears though. Cutler is under pressure every single play.

Outside of the Lions game Woodson has been HORRENDOUS in coverage. He's still a phenomenal tackler, but holy **** has he been terrible covering. He's a saftey next year, imo.

Seasons' on the line next week. If we have Clay we can win, otherwise, game over.

Not a great throw, but Nelson is incapable of making a great catch. It goes both ways.

Couldn't we have drafted Desean jackson instead of Jordy? Big time fail on TT's part.

People are ragging about Rodgers for that Nelson drop? He got his hands on it. Make the catch.

Nelson was fully outstretched and the ball barely grazed his fingertips. Larry Fitzgerald can't make that type of catch. That was an inaccurate pass and it was thrown way too hard.

I don't have a problem with that, if they can do it. Prior to the season, I thought they could, and I thought that they should. I thought that Rodgers was ready for that kind of volume, and that the O-line would be stable enough to allow it. I don't know what to think now.

I can't tell if it is the play calling (though I believe Rodgers is free to audible), I can't tell if it is simply poor execution. It's just not working.

From that, the obvious solution is to go back to the basics, run the ball, and play-action pass. Slants and screens. Run the spread set if it's an advantage or if down by 21, but it needs to be run in a no-huddle, and the plays need to be quick.

My one criticism of Rodgers is that he still isn't very good at stepping up into the pocket. His first instinct seems to be lateral or backwards. Returning to the basics should hide some of that.

I concur with everyone who praised the defense. They have been rock solid in-spite of the offensive impotence.

Hmmm so everyone is turning on Rodgers....he seemed skiddish, but coming off a concussion that is somewhat understandable....I think the blame rests in 2 areas.....the offensive line was dominated today, Bulaga was terrible (smart coach would have helped him), but the entire line was bad, there was a great deal of push up the middle as well, nowhere to run to...the o-line was terrible. The second place is the over-rated receiving corp., I will fully say I was wrong when I thought Jordy Nelson would have a break out year, Nelson and Jones are nothing but pedestrian, Driver is an old possession receiver and Swain shouldn't be on the team. It was nice to see Jennings more involved and it happened like I thought it would, he caught many of his passes in 2 wide sets where there was some play action faking, seemed the only part of the passing game that really worked was when they play action faked, the empty backfield exposes an average o-line and gets your QB beat down.

I really can't remember a game where the defense never knocked down the QB, forget about sacks, just a hit, maybe 1 time per half would have been nice....worst group of OLB's I have seen out there today. The special teams once again was horrid, you could very well blame yet another game on them, when you opponent consistently gets the ball beyond the 30 and you are stuck around the 20 or inside, you are doomed. This head coach seems to not be very detail oriented and for some guy who boasts Pittsburgh macho, he is more like Charmin soft.

The good: Ted Thompson has assembled a team that can compete when down 10 starters. I think blame to Thompson needs to go away.

The bad: McCarthy/Play Calling

The ugly: Tim Masthay, our kick return team, our Slocum. We made the Dolphins special teams look good. When are we going to fire Slocum? He's obviously not qualified. Also, that Hall penalty on the OT punt was a game changer as well.
