If I am paying 300+ clams for a pair of kicks not only would they have to be able to automatically make me jump 3.5+" higher without any extra effort on my behalf but the shoes would have to put the ball in the hoop for me, drive me home after the game as I relax in the passenger seat, cook my dinner and tuck me in at night.

No Happy Ending?!

and Marvel has it right, Jordan XI's are the most comortable, well rounded basketball shoe ever created. I'm not saying the Huaraches aren't good Fred, because they are, but they just didn't have enough support for my liking. Personal taste is all.

Still though, you can never go wrong with a pair of XI's

http://chrislittmann.wordpress.com/2010 ... team-shop/

– First and foremost, there are no plans to sell shoes at this store at this time. Major disappointment in my eyes.
– This will be the only place in the world to get Jordan Brand Bobcats gear, and there will be other limited edition or exclusive Jordan Brand apparel available there.
– If you’re eager to go check it out, you’ll have to wait until the season home opener on Oct. 29 against the Pacers.
– The first 100 customers to make a purchase from team store of $100 or greater will receive a free pair of Jordan shoes. I’ve been told whatever shoe it is will come from the Team Jordan line, but I wasn’t given a specific shoe.

That's a good deal (so long as you get to choose the size)

Whoa after reading it I see you're right. I thought it meant like a chance to win. Nice. No way to guarantee you'll be first though right?

It's worth a line up to make sure you are in the top 100 IMO.

I'm tempted to drop $100 on some jerseys just for a chance at the shoes. I need a new pair.

Used to have the LeBron soldiers...then I realized it was like wearing 2 bricks. Upgraded to hyperdunks and I love them.

Good timing with this thread bump.

My LBJVII's in the OP had a blow out on the weekend. The laces ripped through the two outside top eyelets on the right shoe. Pretty crappy considering I have only worn them about a dozen times.

I'm sending them back to Nike for a replacement pair.

Bet I don't get the same colourways back.

what did you do to cause your shoes to explode?

Ok, so "explode" might have been an over exageration on my behalf! My right shoe just ripped slighlty and the lace pulled through the eyelet. I'm not even sure when it happened. I only noticed after the game when I was taking them off.
