Right on! Thanks Purch. It's funny how little these commentators know AK. From how he "loses" the ball in the Jefferson clip, which is one of AK's more notable moves, the between the legs pass. And how he has "had that shot for a long time, since he came into the league" in regards to his step back jumper... which I don't think I have ever seen AK use before. AK looks more confident than ever! Loved his scream as he dunked between two defenders.

CAN'T WAIT TO BEAT THE LAKERS!!!!!!!! Not saying that it is a sure thing, just that once that day does come I will weep tears of joy 'til my eyes run red with the blood of the Black Mamba... can't wait.

If Al can play like that against the Lakers in the playoffs, I'll start believing again. Post moves + protecting the paint = beautiful.

Same goes for AK. Those blocks on Kobe were vicious. And that fadeway was pure.

CJ really does belong in the second unit where he can be a larger part of the offense. I'm worried about relying on him for second unit offensive production since he is so variable, but I can;t see anyone else doing it as well.

Trying not to get too excited about the preseason, but I can't help it. I even know better.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Unfortunately in the playoffs, you aren't just playing against 5 guys when you play the Lakers. I hope AJ and AK AND CJ can all stay out of foul trouble if we meet them again in the playoffs.

Very nice highlights though, I love watching AJ work Pau like a little dog. Good looking stuff, thanks Purch!

What I really liked to see in this game is that even with Al not shooting well, he got under Gasol's skin. Pau was really frustratred with Al scoring on him in the post and blocking his shots on the other end. When did Gasol ever look bothered by Boozer?

BTW, that was a pretty nice fadeaway by AK, but I won't mind if he never takes another one.

I guarantee Pau got a little bothered every time he saw Boozer sitting on the bench.
