Re: CRITICIZE my TWO teams!
Not going to touch the 20 team league, have no idea what a good team would look like in that big of a league.
Your H2H league. I think Curry is a bit wasted on your team to tell the truth. You started out well with Rondo and Roy, but you never added any 3 point shooters to compliment Curry until your very last pick. Also you have a number of really bad FT shooters so you effectively deflate the value of his contribution there too. And finally, you drafted a lot of guys, Camby, Haywood, Biedrins, Rondo, who don't score well. So there are three categories you should have been building around, because of Curry, that you didn't do well with IMO.
I also think you drafted Chris Kaman way too high, considering his stat line (19-9-1 block) is a) going to be cut into by Griffin most likely and b) could be replicated by a young guy like JJ Hickson, who would be available a few rounds later. He just doesn't seem to add much to your team.
The good news? You are obviously well off in assists, steals, blocks, rebounds, and FG%. I think if you had spent the picks used on Kaman and Oden on three-point specialists, you'd be much better off right now. In fact explore options to bring someone in. But this is a team that can compete.
I know I critiqued a lot (you asked for it) but it really isn't a bad team, and I love the first 3 picks. Good luck to you.

I've read this in numerous places but I'm struggling to understand why exactly that would be the case. Perhaps the points would go down but who else do they have? DeAndre Jordan and Craig Smith? He'll still be counted upon to play massive minutes and last year Kaman and Camby played together and Kaman still pulled down 9 boards per game. Well, Camby is now gone. The only statistical cateogry I could see going down would be the points. His blocks were down from a few years ago as well, possibly due to Camby, which could mean they might go back up. I'm just struggling to understand why everyone is saying this.

Re: CRITICIZE my TWO teams!
Well to start with, Kaman is a very overrated fantasy player because the stats he does pretty good in can be filled by a number of players. Because a lot of people know him, they tend to take him earlier than guys who give the same production with less fanfare. As I said before, JJ Hickson is just one example of a player going in the 9th-11th rounds of drafts who could easily get around Kaman's numbers this year.
As for the blocks, who knows why they went down so drastically. But I would guess it has more to do with the effect of all of his injuries than Camby. In fact if you look at the split stats from last year, Kaman went from averaging 1.5 blocks with Camby to about 1 without him.
I could be wrong, but Kaman is just a fantasy player I have no interest in and am not drafting in my leagues.

Re: CRITICIZE my TWO teams!
I agree with your assessment cochise. I failed to surround my players with proper shooters and got too infatuated by injury-prone big man. For some reason, during the draft, I couldn't help but drafting more and more bigs-- I think my reasoning was that if one went down, I could replace him with another big on my roster. Both Mike Miller and Anthony Morrow were available before I selected Oden but decided to go for another injury-prone big. Don't really know why I did it but I did.
Oh well, I'll figure something out to get some offense/efficiency.

not really sure what you did with your 12 man league, you draft Curry then go and get Rondo and Blake Griffin, that really takes a lot of Curry's strengths away in his FT% and 3P%. I'd try to trade Rondo for Kidd really hard, that will sure up 3%,FT%,Steals, and Assists, those guys are perfect together.
Biedrins is also bad at FT and I'd try to trade him and maybe someone else for someone like Luis Scola to sure up REB and FT. other than that looks pretty good.

Re: CRITICIZE my TWO teams!
...so I just traded Rajon Rondo for Jason Kidd. Well it is still pending approval from rest of the league.
Also attempting to make another trade:
to me:
Scola
Frye
Harden
to him:
Camby
Biedrins
Casspi
comments ??

Rondo at 18 was awful so good move there. Don't get rid of Camby but still try to get Harden and Frye. Scola is way overrated.
