Suspect At Center Of Roseville Galleria Mall Situation In Custody

ROSEVILLE —
A man has been arrested after barricading himself inside the Westfield Galleria Mall in Roseville.
Authorities responded to an emergency call of a man attempting to light merchandise on fire inside the GameStop video game store in-between the Sears and JCPenney's retailers at the Roseville Galleria Mall around 10:30am Thursday.
Employees tell FOX40 News the man walked into the GameStop store with kerosene and a weapon. The entire mall has been evacuated.
Live video from the scene showed smoke billowing from the mall. Authorities confirm the fire is spreading to nearby retail stores, but say the spread is slowed by the emergency sprinkler system within the mall.
There were earlier reports of gunfire from inside the mall, but authorities say the sound of gunfire was actually a window breaking from within the mall.
The suspect was taken into custody shortly after 12:00pm. An ambulance was called in for the suspect after it appeared he was suffering from smoke inhalation.
Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.

Guys :

This is not a situation that calls for making fun of or making light of !
It is very fortunate nobody is trapped in the mall etc.

Be commicle of other issues not something like this ! It is very distasteful to make fun of this & shows a lack of compassion for everyone it affects.

Their jobs , Loved ones of those having jobs being concerned for them , Their future of what now & those who were scared that this may affect them mentally / emotionally ...

If we talk about this please I ask respectfully to do so with respect & class.

I fortunatly have no loved ones that were in the mall that i know of etc. but I just dont feel some of the above comments are in good taste at all ! :(

Chill. Everybody is fine, even the wacko. If anything really tragic happened, I doubt these guys would be talking the way they are. Kings fans are classier than that.

Yes indeed, this is a very serious and most tragic misfortune. I don't find what this "wack job" did very funny at all. In-fact I was in the mall when this incident occurred. We had to be evacuated immediately and it was very hard getting out of the building while people were cramming to the near by exits. I was lucky enough to get out safely, along with other family members. And am very surprised no body was injured. With that being said... I still find Nicky Nix Nook's comment to be very comical. What a greedy bastard.

The kid is 23 years old, homeless, and on meth. His mother kicked him out when she got a new boyfriend.

23 and homeless...

It's really pathetic of you guys who think your comments are funny about this situation & or about the fact that the young man is/ was disturbed like this .

I would venture to guess that alot of you who have made the comments think 9-11 was funny or make fun of disabled people , military people who have fought in war who lost there leg , arm , or even their sanity etc.

I am just saying some of you truly show just how young & immature you are with the stupid comedy as well as anyone older acting like a young immature person who finds this funny .

I have no problem with people cracking jokes etc. about a ton of situations but things like
Arson , Peoples jobs , disabilities , People that are mentally disturbed things like that are things that any average sane person should have respect enough not to make fun of .

Maybe your jokes are generational I would like to believe that anyone who makes fun of this or dumb jokes that people are posting in reguards have parents that obviously have not taught them very well on how to act in society !

I dont care what any of you say to or about me in reguards etc. I really dont !

But any of you who participate in joking around about this even though nobody died etc. are idiots !!!!!!

Honestly, If you compare a meth head (not a disability by the way, more of a stupidity) burning down a game stop to a soldier losing a limb for his/her country then we are not the dilusional ones.

Nobody died, I think everyone is more joking around about the fact that it was a Gamestop. I do feel for those who may be put in a difficult situation because of this (employees, people with pre-orders at the store)

It is our right to make video game related jokes about this just as it is your right to get on your pulpit and condemn all of our souls for doing so.

Someting about the fire obviously struck a nerve and I am sorry about whatever that is.

No no no! He's still upset about Medal of Honor. So he took it back to the old witch hunt days. He formed a one-man mob with torch and pitchfork in hand and stormed the Gamestop.

That being said...

Exactly where you get off comparing an isolated incident at a local mall to the likes of 9-11 or wounded war veterans is INFINITELY more ridiculous. Seriously? You REALLY think this even holds a CANDLE to any of the aforementioned events? Please. Just go somewhere...

And speaking of Medal of Honor, I bet you must have been one of its many wannabe-patriotic protesters.

Wow, I used to live across the street from the Galleria for the past year until about 2 weeks ago, so it's weird that this happened now...

Yeah I was just looking at that.

And I am pretty sure that we are making jokes of how it was at Gamestop.

Just look at what he says on his facebook, he has mental problems and claims he wouldnt kill himself because he loved his sister too much. I can tolerate the Gamestop jokes(theyre actually pretty funny) but the guy himself is just a sad case. Im really sensitive to these types of incidents....
