Miles And Rogers Waived

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Thu Oct 21, 2010 6:39 pm

Looks like Tank made it for now as we are now down to 15.

Means that he or McGuire would be my guess as the ones being waived if we happened to come into a 2 for 1 type trade I guess.

You're wrong. McGuire has guaranteed contract. Anyway, I think we don't keep Collins either. I think Flip is still free guy atm? So is Hughes?

You can waive a guaranteed contract so considering McGuire's is so low it would cost us the least to have to eat - if we needed a roster spot opened up that is.

No, why'd they waive Darius. :(

Flip is playing in China now (I believe, it's China or Europe).

Thank You Jesus! Darius Miles had no business taking up any more playing time than he already has. Why we invited him to camp is a mystery since he offers us nothing that we don't already have in abundance.

Adios to both. Miles was way over used in the preseason for what we expected to do with him, but he did help balance some minutes due to injury. Rogers is still beloved here and he has some type of future with extra work. I just doubt any trade is coming down before the season starts.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Right move. Miles obviously did not belong to the NBA.

Rogers could be a good player if he keeps up his good mentality, but he clearly has a lots of work left.

And if we will have a 2for1 trade, I can't even care less who we cut. Tank, McGuire, Kwame, Najera are all useless players ... I would buyout Najera, cause he is the less useful.

BUT the Wizards cut Morrison, should we pick him up  Just kidding!

How are people making assesments of Rogers when we only saw him play for a total of 4 mins and 53 seconds where he only registered 1 rebound, 1 block and missed the one shot (a 3 pointer no less!!) that he took?

Roger is a guy that could spend a couple years in the D-league and come out a decent player. It´s too bad we can´t hold on to his right and send him down like in Baseball or Soccer.
