^ Indy said no to taking on the extra year of Nocioni... NVM

How about:

Vujacic + Walton + pick (or cash) for Jamison

LA gets a PF to pick up minutes while Bynum is down til Christmas or later (if his history is repeated). Odom picks up some C minutes like he did with team Usa.

that is if Cleveland is totally in the rebuild mode. i don't see them banking on Hickson for the moment. maybe next year.

Im going go totally off topic and talk about next summers moves I know this season hasn't even started yet but I think its an interesting conversation Im going to guess this will be Barnes one and only season with the Lakers because he would probably be a starter on most other teams. Now if he leaves that would leave just Ebanks and Artest at SF im leaving out Walton because I think the Lakers will finally buy him out next summer. Now im all for giving Ebanks a chance at being Artests main backup but I think the Lakers should have another vet at SF some guys available next summer are Prince, Battier, Mo Peterson, and Kapono. Which one of those guys do you guys think would fit best with the Lakers for 2011-2012?

Well salaries will be at 86 mil for 10 guys (Kobe, Pau, Bynum, Odom, Ron, Blake, Fish, Brown, Caracter, Ebanks). Assuming no moves occur this season and Walton gets your "buyout" (say 3.5 mil, doubtful but possible), and they keep their 1st (1 mil or close) and one of the 2nds (1/2 mil), that puts them at 91. They could use their BAE for 2 mil to get a vet backup SF in my opinion and run a 93 m payroll. Probably knocks out Prince and Battier, who'll get more.

My choice.... Grant Hill.

Barnes could extend his career by 3-4 yrs by staying with us and playing behind ron with ebanks ala bruce bowen.

Bowen was a starter on the Spurs before he went to the bench at the end of his career. Barnes maybe one of those few players in the league that no matter what happens in the CBA talks he's not going to lose money or years on his next contract. Which i think means that he's going to leave next summer.

barnes is under contract with us next year with a player option. you think after the new CBA another team is going to offer him more than they did this year for being a year older? why?

on another note, are there any bigs out there we can trade sasha's expiring for this season? im not interested in hearing about our high salary and not wanting to take on new salary as buss has stated and proven publicly numerous times that he is willing to spend if the player is worth it.

i think we could use another big in the 5 mil range, especially considering bynum will be injured as usual.

we should give dampier a look, dont think he's getting that big contract offer he was expecting, wouldn't hurt to add another 7 footer for vet min.

There have been a lot of bad trades proposed on this board but this is one of the worst I've ever seen.

what bout Primo Brizec (sp?) He had 1 solid year in Cha and fell off the face of the earth, legit 7 footer, pretty skilled offensively. he had short stint with Bucks last year, must be in europe somewhere. How bout our old buddy Chris Mihm? Is he done, career wise?

Do you guys have any interest in Anderson Varejao 2nd All-Defensive Team?

My reason is that the Cavs are at .500 and I want us to tank to get into the Harrison Barnes sweepstakes.

While cock-blocking the Heat from winning a championship by making the Lakers even stronger.

Would you guys do Walton, Sasha, and two lotto protected 1st's?

NOT 2 picks, I would give 1 and doesn't Varjao have a trade kicker?

We should get Kwame or someone who already knows the triangle. There's no point in bringing in a fresh player that takes a couple weeks to work into the triangle when bynum will be back in a 2 or three weeks.

I dunno maybe even cj giles or that one undersized forward from boston we had last year. Kwame would be awesome at this point though.

off base but what do you guys think of trading for Pryzbilla? Say Sasha/2011 1st, both are expiring and since he is coming of injury himself we can limit his minutes as well during the season. But this guy is a banger and a great shot blocker. After the season maybe we can keep him on for 3-4mill/yr or so, he is great insurance for when Bynum for whenever Bynum goes dong again.

I highly doubt we would be in the 25 or earlier pick nevertheless lotto. lol... no need lotto protected... it would be nice if we traded for a potential lotto pick though! it would be great if we traded for MIL or CHA's 1st unprotected some how and they end up 9th seed and winning 1st overall HAHA..

Lakers 2011 NBA champs with #1 overall lotto pick..
