Official Oakland Raiders season watch '11

Post#1 » by Dirty Water » Fri Sep 24, 2010 5:41 am

I'm currently window shopping our probable Top 10 draft pick for next season. Jason Campbell is already struggling for Oakland (benched in Week 2) and even though they scratched out a win against St. Louis (teehee) I think they can be a bottom 5 team.

Some mocks right now have us going #9 with Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama. Or possibly we could go after some secondary help. Any thoughts or wishes?

Current Record
8-8
After Week 17 and a disapointing Raiders season (by Patriots standards ;)) pick is now locked in at #17.

Week 1: Sunday, Sep. 12, at Tennessee, 1:00 PM #LOSS 38-13
Week 2: Sunday, Sep. 19, St. Louis, 4:05 PM #WIN 14-16
Week 3: Sunday, Sep. 26, at Arizona, 4:15 PM #LOSS 24-23
Week 4: Sunday, Oct. 3, Houston, 4:05 PM #LOSS 31-24
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 10, San Diego, 4:15 PM #WIN 27-35
Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 17, at San Francisco, 4:05 PM #LOSS 17-9
Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 24, at Denver, 4:15 PM #WIN 14-59
Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 31, Seattle, 4:15 PM #WIN 3-33
Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 7, Kansas City, 4:15 PM #WIN 20-23 OT
Week 10: BYE
Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 21, at Pittsburgh, 1:00 PM #LOSS 35-3
Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 28, Miami, 4:05 PM #LOSS 33-17
Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 5, at San Diego, 4:05 PM #WIN 13-28
Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 12, at Jacksonville, 1:00 PM #LOSS 38-31
Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 19, Denver, 4:15 PM #WIN 23-39
Week 16: Sunday, Dec. 26, Indianapolis, 4:05 PM #LOSS 31-26
Week 17: Sunday, Jan. 2, at Kansas City, 1:00 PM #WIN 10-31

Only chance I really see maybe win one or two divisional games against Denver (probably the one at home) or a slight chance to go in and possibly beating Arizona or San Fran on the road.

I've been watching this too. And was pissed after the rams lost.

I think they can surprise a few, I just hope we get top 5. Or even top 10.

If moss leaves I think AJ Green or Julio Jones would be great. Mark Ingram would be nice. But what we really need is someone like Cameron Heyward, Von Miller or Robert Quinn, all d-ends.

We need a 3-4 end or olb the most. I would love a combo of Miller/Heyward (bit of a stretch)

Janikowski pushes a 32 yard field goal left to lose the game. I couldn't believe it, I jumped up out of my shoes.

RAIDERS LOSE!

1-2 on the year.

1-2, alright. Big loss right there in a very winable game against I believe to be a very poor team as well in Arizona.

After watching yesterdays Pats game I really think Defense is a pressing need more than RB. So I'd take best defensive player available at this point. A defensive end, OLB or possibly a corner

I see them winning about 5 more games most. They really don't have any gimmies on their schedule either.

Kubiak gives pats fans a scare and sits Arian Foster for almost half the game, and raiders put up a helluva an effort. But they came up short.

RAIDERS LOSE!

1-3 on the season.

This Raiders team doesn't look that bad. Pats are going to need some luck.

Murphy may be out for a couple weeks, so that helps.

Bah... **** lame. Raiders upset the chargers.

The way they're playing we could be looking at 15 or even higher :(

Just like last year the Raiders randomly come to play like twice a season against a good team. Well, chalk this one up as a disappointing win.

Loss!! Whoooo.

I'll sticky this for you btw, dirty water. You've put a lot of work into it, and it was falling down.

The Raiders are sinking. Campbell sucks and Gradkowski is injured, they might have to start Kyle Boller for the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we get a top 10 pick.

Well, I didn't see that coming. That as pathetic a performance as I have ever seen.

Well, not sure what that was, but my theory of the Raiders coming to play in random weeks holds true.

:(

Friggen Oakland. Having a good year.

I think it's time to start tracking Carolina. Because we have their second rounder, and that is looking like a great value trade. Could be 33-36.

Meh, I'm actually ok with them doing well. That fanbase has suffered more than enough.

Raiders are going to be fighting for the playoffs.

ffs 8 crappy years and now you perform well.

I don't regret the trade, no one saw this coming. But damn.
