I agree! I think San Jose is the most likely place to get the Kings if they do move. I am really curious though what is going to happen with the new owners of the railyard.

I don't think all of those bay area teams will be happy to share the market with yet another team, especially the Warriors (obviously) and the Sharks, whose seasons coincides with the Kings. Football also coincides, but there's only one game per week, and half of those are away. I don't know, but I don't think the Maloofs would be excited to move there.

As far as Anaheim, three teams in SoCal seems too much, and it's not like they'll be spread out down there either.

If I had to make a bet to where they would move though, I agree with SacKingZZZ, San Jose is the best bet. I just don't see it happening though.

I would love it if they moved back to cincinatti. I prefer if they stay in sacramento, but out of the possible options cincinnati would be fantastic.

Ohio is a good market for basketball, and they would get plenty of people from columbus coming to the games because they would be much closer than going to cleveland.

LA can handle it, it will suck and the team will probably struggle to sell out until they're good and the absolute worst is that most fans will be Laker fans (YUCK!!!) but they can handle it.

I just think San Jose is going to go HARD if the Kings are moving. Over the years I've read and heard positive things about how they run things and I think they've been ready for something like this to happen for a long time. Once again, it would suck because it is Warriors territory but if I know that area like I think I do, they are the type of fans that aren't really married to any particular team. I know plenty of Bay area folks that were hardcore Kings fans during the good years. Soon as they faded they jumped back to the W's bandwagon though. It's also possible they they retain a good deal of the fan base from Sac do to it not being terribly far. I think it's the best of the worst case scenario.

If the Kings move out of Sac though it's going to suck. I really hope they don't move. C'mon KJ work some magic!!!

"We're not contracting. That's not going to happen. No way we'll fold – and no way we're selling."

I think it is clear as day light about the Maloofs' intention of whether or not they are going to sell the team or being contracted. They are NOT going to do those options. They made it known through quotes, hints and dialogue throughout the years.

Relocation is the primary option for them if there is no arena deal in place.
