I knew they wouldn't pick up the first once we got that bad spot. They are one of the toughest teams to convert against in short yardage. And this has been another game against Iowa where they've moved the ball early but their point total didn't reflect their success. Iowa made us pay for that last year, and in 2005, especially.

I called that one beforehand. In fact I had been calling for it on the last few series' or so. We were running up the middle on almost every first down and telegraphing especially when Clay was brought into the ballgame. As a result they were stacking the box...a fact which Chryst used against them.
