Forecast the Suns Season
Admittedly, this is a very confusing call, but what's your guess?
I'm guessing 47 wins, an 8th seed and then good night. But that's fine by me, given the current circumstances.

Gonna be tough without amare, but I cant see nash having a sub 500 season. 50+wins, whatever. I think we'll surprise a lot of people, like last year.

Lots of people bitching and overreacting over the smallest freakin' things. That's my forecast.
Hold on, let me go get my umbrella.

Re: Forecast the Suns Season
51+ Wins for me. I'm hoping the play we've seen in this pre-seaon is totally different to the play we will see during the regular season.

Re: Forecast the Suns Season
Before the season i said 8th seed but i didn't know the front-court was this weak. With a few teams in the West improving i'll go 45 wins but this team could look different after the T deadline.

Marc Stein, ESPN.com | Stein's picks
The Suns were last season's Cinderellas, but they're even smaller than they were. (Case in point: Grant Hill or Hedo Turkoglu might be starting at power forward.) The denizens of Planet Orange are thus forced to scale back their expectations. Significantly.

wat?
They're basically going to be interchangeable on the court. We play a mismash of guards, forwards, and one big. Two if Siler gets minutes.

Re: Forecast the Suns Season
I think we'll be a sub .500 team up through December. Management will assess things and try to make a deal to right the ship. If unable to acquire the lacking talent, they then will field offers for Nash going to a playoff bound contender.
This decision may also be based on the progress of the CBA. Nash will have the say of course. If a lock out is looming, he'll pack his bags with his ticking clock. JRich will not be signed, Hill will retire if not packaged with Nash.
We'll then extend Duds, and waller our way to a lotto pick with a decent young core consisting of Dragic, Duds, JChill, Frye, and Lopez.... oh and that hedu fellow. Plus who ever we get for Nash.
Sorry folks... the window will close.... if the Suns perform as predicted.
So the forecast.... scattered showers with a chance of severe thunderstorms. Possible hail and tornado warnings. Check your local radar before venturing out.

Slightly above 40.
Btw, Frank, you need to know our generous owner is trying to find an excuse to not spend, and Nash is the perfect excuse. So no, I don't see him going anywhere. I wouldn't mind seeing him in Orlando, but really, I just don't see him leaving via trades.

Re: Forecast the Suns Season
I just don't see how you guys are predicting playoffs much less 53 wins. You know how good you have to be to win 53 games in a season?
I forcast a six month storm in PHX.
I'm out because I don't want to get dinged for trolling. I'll be back in May to see how it went.

Re: Forecast the Suns Season
Forcast too cloudy to see, too many moving parts. Still looking fwd to the games counting and seeing what kind of fight we have in us when they mean something. We all know of atleast a few people on this team who when it matters put it into another gear. (Nash, Hill, Duds, ETC!!). I want to see how they adjust when it matters line-up wise.
