I think we have a much, much better shot than in recent years -- to the point where it wouldn't be a hugely stunning upset -- but the odds are against it. Still, I'm all for the optimism permeating the thread.

I'm with you. I think we all know that the chances of beating the Lakers or making the finals are very, very slim but we like to be optimistic.

To be fair, I think the Jazz have as much of a chance at beating the Lakers as the Lakers do at pulling off the three-peat. Just saying...
