So with stern bringing up contraction, I have a few questions to go along with it.
What happens to the owner of the team?? Obviously they have hundreds of millions of dollars invested in the team and aren't going to shrug their shoulders that they have no team anymore. So does the NBA just settle on a figure with the owner?? Is their a precedent in any league for this??
Than what becomes of the players on the team that are contracted?? Free agency or some type of draft? Again is their a precedent in the NBA or any other league for this?
Just curious what would happen and crossing my fingers its not the bucks.
How does Contraction work??

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

From what i understand the league buys the team from the owner for what its worth. And then the players will be become FA's.
