OT: Bengie Molina / World Series

Post#1 » by Nando88 » Mon Oct 25, 2010 4:50 am

so can anyone tell me exactly why he would get a ring regardless if the ranger or giants win the world series? what does him being traded from the giants to texas have to do with him getting a ring regardless?

Because they're playing eachother. He'll have played for the WS champion this year no matter what. It would be like us trading Nash at the deadline, to the Magic and both teams then meeting in the Finals.

Because he was a part of their team this season. I'll give you an example, the Celtics traded Bill Walker to the Knicks for Nate Robinson at the deadline last season. If the Celtics would've won the finals then Walker (with the Knicks) would've gotten a ring because he participated for the championship team the same season.
