Newsflash:

Jays won't win the World Series next year.

Farrell's gonna develop along with this team. By the time we win it in 2012 or 2013 or 2014, no one will think of our manager as a rookie.
Is anybody here a marine biologist?

He tends to back his opinions up with stats, historical grounding, and insight. Those things can certainly be wrong, but that they tend to hold more water than IT'S JUNE 1ST THE DAY THAT DECIDES EVERYTHING, especially because we're talking about baseball players who tend to be insular enough that they'd be lucky to remember what year it is.
