I bet you would have said the same about Turkoglu had you only known him as a Raptor.

No. The bball IQ between Turk and Bargnani isn't even close. Try to picture Bargnani playing in the finals last year and you can easily see how a player like that would get exposed so badly that you couldn't afford to have him on the court.

If the Celtics had Bargnani available in game 7 of the finals replacing the injured Perkins there's no doubt in my mind that they would have had a better chance to win. Even though they'd still have to beat 100 free throws in the 4th, offensively they struggled to score and defensively it's another 7 footer to throw at Gasol.

I also fail to see how the Magic would have been worse with Bargnani instead of Lewis in 2009.

Kevin Garnett would have strangled Bargnani by the end of the 1st quarter.

Bargnani - 1st Overall Pick. Toronto must have some big reasons for keeping him.

Andersen - still unproven but a comparison to Bargnani is enough to say that he can play. to what level? well, they should give him a break while he's picking up his confidence.

Does he get wine or pizza up there? I thought all he was offered was a vinegar-soaked rag.

We owe him more than our lives. Bargnani, not Burton.

Well, maybe Burton.

The advantage with Burton is if we do (did), he'd be (have been) too drunk to remember.

UNLESS Scotch > our lives.

And, actually, I know where he'd side on that one, so poor example.

On a side note, when comparing Bargs and Burton, I remember reading how a 3 second scene in Becket (where O'Toole puts the ring on his finger) took all day to film because both actors had shaky hands due to having been drinking for weeks.

Leading me to believe that Burton sucked at rebounding, too.

EXCEPT for Liz Taylor.

I'm apparently arguing against myself today.

I think a safe conclusion now is Bargnani is an alcoholic, and that it's entirely the fault of his parents.

His parents seems limited.

I think the obvious people to blame for Andrea Bargnani's drinking are:

1) Society (duh.)
2) His parents
3) Chris Bosh (Even still. Maybe even more now.)
4) Jose Calderon (kinda same as above)
5) Sam Mitchell (Except for the mo'shats part.)
6) Walter Kronkite (duh)
7) Jay Triano (except for the no mo' shats part)
8) TJ Ford (duh...noracist)
9) Doug Smith (duh...nofatist)
10) Richard Burton
11) That French chick Jonny Depp's married to. (maybe when balls are coming off the glass, he's trying to remember, too?)
12) PJ Carlisimo (he was also at the scene of a traffic jam once. I have photos.)
13) Jermaine O'Neal (no photos, but he also has that look, you know?)
14) Brendan Malone (this one I'd buy)
15) Robert Graves (Bargs in white sheets...a meme)
16) Giuseppe Garibaldi (Bargs with weirdbeard...not so much a meme, but still)
17) Yoko Ono (How not yes?)
18) Wayne Gretzky (Dam agrees. Run bargs hockey puck comes  )
19) Dr. James Naismith (Medical people have The Bias, too.)
20) Society again. (It's big, it contains multitudes.)
21) Walt Whitman (how didn't you see this one coming, given 13.)
22) Len Bias (self explanatory)
23) The Korean guy who runs the corner store near me. (Never once seen him pass to Bargs.)
24) Johnny Walker (black)
25) Jessica Alba Naked (can you blame me for trying?)

After that I lose count.

If we're blaming Whitman, I'm including Ginsberg and consequently homosexuality. Then we're back at society.

We've solved it.

For it to have any sort of importance, relevance or credibility following the ridicule the original creator would need to posses the same qualities. ie. My toilet told me Andrea bargnani is the GOAT. Mildly entertaining but looking at the source its quite meaningless. In conclusion I wouldnt say its sig worthy.
