We have our reasons for not banning IP's, but we have done it in the past, if needed.

Tell you what.. explain to me why every poster that is posting under the same IP you and Inception have.. also happen to ONLY previously banned user from CA/Toronto?

Look, buddy, I don't know how else to put this but I'm not a returning user and it's impossible for my IP address to match that of any of those users unless I happened to get that IP address when I moved into my condo (which is highly unlikely, if not impossible). Never mind the fact that I had runins with mods, after i moved to my condo and prior to getting banned, where they hinted at thinking I was a returning user but pretty much admitted to not being able to prove it. Apparently, anyone that voices concern about how the boards are managed MUST of been banned before, right?


Obviously you're not going to admit that your moderators banned me based on a hunch and I'm not going to waste my time arguing. I came here to say that I was unfairly banned ironically on the same day I complimented the same mods that banned me. If your IP tools are working then deep down inside you and your moderator buddies know that I'm right and everyone reading this thread can make their own decisions. I have nothing to prove anymore and I couldn't care less about these forums... I used to lurk for the news posted but thanks to RSS and Twitter, I don't need the community for that anymore. Hence why I figured it'd be fun to participate in discussions but now that I've seem how things work around here you can keep your discussions.

It's worth noting that skeebs, one of the PBPs who share the same IP, posted a thread a couple months back on this board alleging that he was banned under false pretenses. We decided to give him a second chance...and he quickly made clear that he was in fact a previously-banned poster, by going off on a rant at Harry Palmer about years-old stuff. So he was banned again.
