I like Nike's products, but they'd shoot Kobe's next ad in a Denver hotel room if they thought it would sell shoes.

They had Lebron's mom in the studio to do a voiceover commercial, but all she wanted to talk about is how much she missed Delonte West.

She also kept asking why won't Lebron let her hang with him and his new teammates

Sorry if it's not in the wonderful spirit of this thread, but that is a HOF commercial. As the Washington Post used to say, if you don't get it... you're as smart as a rock.

LBJ had a TO where he tossed a pseudo no-look to wade in the corner but wade was about 2 steps into making a cut baseline. it never occurred to LBJ that players on the wing would cut. the lane is prime crab dribbling real estate. why would anyone clog it by making cuts? just stand in the wings and watch him work! i thought that one play summed up LBJ very nicely.

Arroyo next to Ilgauskas kind of has a 'mini-me' look to it.

Wade will get his game back but Bosh is garbage. The slightest bit of physicality and he plays like a chicken.

It's just comical watching LeBron and Wade on the floor at the same time though. Both guys will have to make serious adjustments.

Same problem we had. Once needs to come off the bench.

They would be so deep if they spread it our and only had 2 of 3 out there most the time.

I think interior scorers will be the biggest vulnerability of the Heat.

I think they will also be vulnerable to excessive TOs
in addition to not having a great deal of size. The lack
of size has the effect of making them a jump shooting team.
We all know about that. But even though leDouche and
Wadette are great passers, the team as a whole will
suffer at times from not having a true PG.

heartily enjoyable - about like this week's MNF game
(sorry Cramer).

final comment re Boston - As good as Rondo is, it's
amazing to me how many 12-15 ft jumpshots he
has to turn down. If they had given Stockton those
looks, he would've avgd 25 ppg. So in some ways, his
gaudy assist numbers are inflated by his unwillingness
to make himself a threat at what for many players
is prime territory.

My take is that their biggest problem isn't PG. LeDouche can do that if they let him.

The problem is size in the post and the fact that the coach doesnt have the balls to bring one off the bench. Best they can do is probably start all 3 and pull one early enough that it end up that most the game there are only two out there.

At least to start the season.

Sorry if it's not in the wonderful spirit of this thread, but that is a HOF commercial. As the Washington Post used to say, if you don't get it... you're as smart as a rock.

Just watched the commercial for the first time.

The answer. You should lose.

But if you want to win, you should shut up and see a therapist. Find yourself first. Step out of the lime light and just be a basketball player. The rest will follow. Stop forcing it. Your are not going to win anyone over that hates you with commercials.

Stop being a corporate whore. Be a basketball player first and if you win, the rest will come. You have enough money and people are tired of your mug.

When I read this post it reminded me of a quote from The Queen. I went searching and found it:

“A lot of players know how to play the game, but they really don’t know how to play the game, if you know what I mean. They can put the ball in the hoop, but I see things before they even happen. You know how a guy can make his team so much better? That’s one thing I learned from watching Jordan.”

I'm sure it's been posted before but check out ihatelebronjames.com for a laugh if you haven't already.

Have to disagree Ruz. Any commercial featuring LeBron is automatically precluded from HOF status.
