Is that their playing style? Hopefully we aren't dumb enough to run with you guys. We also struggle defending the 3 ball, so i can see us losing by double figures to be honest, unless we take care of the ball.

The Kings were #6 in pace last year. I'm pretty sure that the Kings will not have too much problem keeping up with anyone in the L (although, the Wolves were #3 in pace last year).

But in any case, without Tyreke pushing the ball, the Kings may have trouble creating opportunities in transition (and elsewhere too). Tyreke averaged:

19.3/6.3/9.3/2.3

In the 4 games that both teams played. Tyreke was the Kings both primary scorer and most importantly, the Kings primary creator/playmaker. Those 9.3 assists/game will be compensated somehow.

I have Webster in a fantasy league and I am really tempted to drop him for Snipes.

Cousins will crush Darko "the bust".
JT and Love will cancell eachother out
Donte will hold Beasley to a low percentage but he will get points just by pure volume of shooting
Beno and the rest of the crew will kill Minnies pathetic bench.

GO KINGS!

Pekovic will rape your whole team "the bait".
Landry and Tolliver will cancel eachother out.
Darko will hold Cousins to a low percentage but he will get points just by pure volume of shooting until he is T'd up and ejected in the first half.
Johnson will dunk over Casspi so hard that it will ruin US-Israel relations.

Yea Jason Thompson is going to stop the 2nd best player of all-time. (behind Darko) I wouldn't be surprised if Beasley went for 45-50 and Snipes hits 13 threes to break the NBA record in his first game. Then just wait until Telfair comes into the game and drives into the lane at 121 MPH (wink wink)

I don't think it was a contractual question.

Maybe I just spend way to much time on these threads but it seems like a lot of people are starting to realize the Wolves could be an interesting team to watch.

I know every year NBA teams sell themselves as vastly improved but come on from K-love promising to win 30+ to how close the team seems it really does seem like we have something to prove.

Heck our entire team even individually has something to prove: (long list coming)

Ridnour: always had to compete with another PG (well...that hasn't changed but whatever)

Ellington: fell to late first round

Wes Johnson: people said he's to old (cuz he's like 24) and that we should have taken Cousins.

Beasley: Oh come on, you should know this one.

Kevin Love: He's taken the mantle of defending his team, out to prove he can replace Al jeff and be a star in his own right.

Darko Milicic: See beasley.

Kosta Koufos: fun fact his last name is greek for "deaf" but yea this guy used to get hazed hard by Deron Williams (he used to make him fetch basketballs he punted) and also this guy was an after thought in the trade despite being a first round big man with potential.

Martell Webster: has said himself he wants to show off everything he can do. Honestly every swingman in Portland must have a chip on there shoulder unless there names are Roy or Batum. there minutes were shaky and there is was a crazy log jam out there. Well welcome to another logjam.

Pekvoic: Ok he's just a bad ass with a skull tattoo out to lay the hurt on people but as a EuroLeague import he has to prove he can play the NBA style.

tolliver: history the d-league keeps the embers within burning strong.

Telfair: guys been labeled a bust for a while now.

Brewer: also has been labled a bust for a while (not counting his upswing last year) potential fault line in the team, him wanting more minutes.

Lazar Hayward: shoots 3s with the lights off nuff said. He's out to prove something.

JFlynn: picked over Curry and Jennings people question that.

Mo Ager: yeah

and Rubio: whenever he gets here will be out to prove he's worthy of the starting Pg job....in New York
