Hurt his shoulder in August, was playing through it, aggravated it on Sunday. He needs surgery.

Yeah, knew he was battling it earlier but I did'nt realize he aggravated it on Sunday. Unbelievable bad luck with injuries this year.

Umm its not bad luck it bad coaches and conditioning. Lots of ppl need to be fired and replaced. Or we have the biggest team of wussies in the NFL.

Or people are just having awful luck getting injured. But I am starting to wonder about the strength and conditioning programs and how effective they've been.

I think it is more just bad luck than anything... but it has definitely crossed my mind that maybe our guys were not properly conditioned for the season. Probably a ridiculous notion, but I admit to have thought about it. This many injuries starts f*cking with your rationale.

BucksRuleAll22 Where were you when we were all celebrating a huge win over the Queens? You seem to only show up when there is bad news.

You know there was some gamesmanship going on this week. Green will be spilling it regarding the Jets.

Wow, pure insanity
I'm not that high on Jones as a player, but he knows the defense and is an ok backup type of player. I can't remember seeing any Packer team suffer this many serious injuries. The only saving grace is most of the guys besides Finley/Neal that have been put on the IR are replaceable. We badly need though for Pickett/Jenkins to get and stay healthy, along with Matthews not having any more setbacks with his hamstring.

Re: Jones to the IR, NT Green claimed
I suppose the big disappointment is that we won't get a chance to see how Brad Jones could have progressed during his 2nd year in the league. However, based on his previous body of work (and lack of work due to injury), it seems like many of these waiver wire LBs are about at his same level, just good enough to be on an NFL, but not necessarily good enough to keep the job. If there was a bright side, I think this forces Ted's hand a little bit more into looking in the direction of an OLB this offseason (still draft BPA, but if it's close between 2, go OLB).
What can anyone say about Howard Green. I don't know why, but I'm excited for him. We finally have somebody to spell Raji, and it seems like this team always has great luck signing over the hill, losing the battle of the bulge - esq veterans to play on the D-line. Grady Jackson provided this team with a ridiculous boost, and if Green has enough in him to get pumped for this one jets game while giving the coaches some insight into the schemes and hot reads of the jets d, well, this signing would be a slam dunk.
Huzzah for our secondary coming together. Say what you will about the jets DBs, but I'm excited to watch this team trot out Williams, Woody, Harris, and Shields. It's probably a bit reactionary from the vikings game, but I think this team has more than a punchers chance against NYJ.

Re: Jones to the IR, NT Green claimed
Anybody see Tom Silverstein's tweet yesterday?
The two Super Bowl teams of the 90's sent 12 players to IR in those two seasons, 4 of them starters. This team has now sent 10 to IR, 5 of them starters.
Edit: Nevermind, just saw it in the game thread.
