Nice, I'm jealous. That was an awesome ceremony.

I've been saying that for years, and like you said, it's because of all the rich idiots that just go there for show (there's obviously exception, like The Joker).

One of these days I'm going to fly out to LA and catch a game courtside, and I fully expect to lose my voice before the game is over.

True. I'll probably have to go to a Wolves game or some crap just to be able to afford it.

I have to do it at least once in my lifetime though, that's for sure.

Court side tickets at Staples Center are on my bucket list. I'd say in the top 5 of my realistic one. If I ever become wealthy enough to get court side season tickets next to Jack I'd consider sharing them for games I can't attend myself with you Laker folk.

All I know is that courtside seats in San Antonio cost $1,500, so I can't even imagine what they run for a Lakers game. Four grand? Five grand?

Don't think I could ever squeeze the trigger on that, but I'd definitely love to do it. Most I could see myself dropping is two thousand, but that would have to be for a big game, which would be way, way out of that league.

Aside -- how sick is it that there are people out there who can afford two on a nightly basis? A week's worth of NBA basketball for the price of a car.

Jeanni Buss was on the radio yesterday and said court side is $2700 and they sell out every time but thats face value, I'm sure it would hit 5k+ if you sold them off for the big games like Mia/Bos etc.

Yeah courtside seats are about $2700 per ticket face value but i don't think they are for sale to the public. Celebrities like Jack, Denzel and all the people with connections have first dip, CEO of big companies also have them. The Miami and Boston game this season is considered "Marquee" Game so it is inflated even at face value. For example, a season ticket holder will get a one ticket to the Xmas game for $152 and face value on ticketmaster is $600. Stubhub probably sells for $800-$1000. So that courtside seat selling for $21K on stubhub doesn't surprise me.

It is crazy thinking how some much some people are willing to pay for big Laker games and what makes me even more sick is these morons are throwing away cash like they print it every morning, yet they don't even cheer. All they want to do is be seen on TV and text their friends bragging that they are at the game and praying that they will have girls go up to them.
