This is how a 25-57 team finishes games on the road.

Even though he didn't score, he was setting up guys all over the place. I just looked at the stat sheet and he had +13, the highest on the team

But the dumb coach, took him out of the game, so we were basically relying on stuckey to make plays

Exactly what I was thinking. The last missed 3 by CV where he got rushed by 2 defenders as soon as he caught the ball, to his right in the corner was a wide open Ben Gordon. One more pass. Know your guy is there and swing it out to him.

Here's to hoping we land a #1 pick this offseason.

Yeah Kuester should know better than anyone that Stuckey is a terrible PG and is incapable of playing well for more than a half.

That last ten minutes of that game was horrible to watch.

Prince iso wasn't working, lets try it again.....and again......

We had vets on the floor the whole time and they didn't know how to finish it off.
Disgraceful....

Is there still a draft in a lockout?
If not, is the talent pool twice bigger when the NBA resumes action?

I believe there still would be a draft.

Here is an article from nbadraft.net about what would happen in the draft with a lockout. interesting stuff.

http://www.nbadraft.net/nba-lockouts-po ... -nba-draft

But there is one dark cloud looming over otherwise bright basketball skies - the potential of a lockout after the 2010-11 NBA season. A potential work stoppage has the potential to shake up next year’s draft in many different ways.

The most obvious impact would be the inclination for prospects to come back for another year of college ball instead of jumping to a league that might not play a season. This could potentially devastate the underclassmen pool, possibly even cutting the number of early entries in half.

On the other hand, this idea will certainly be publicized to the point where some agents are sure to employ the reverse logic to players to entice them to come out. The idea being that a bunch of guys won’t be coming out because of a lockout, so maybe this is a year for middling talent to get taken higher.

Gordon had a chance to make a play with a minute to go, but he turned the ball over. Plus Gordon had 2 fouls in the last couple of minutes trying to guard Harris. May have been better with Stuck on Harris.

Was impressed with T-Mac. Can't believe we couldn't find any minutes for Monroe. What a joke.

Stuckey played PG just fine today. and tmac was great with his playmaking. if he can get his scoring back then he could actually be something useful. his defense was surprisingly good too.

That was (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to watch. I knew after Tayshaun made those 2 shots in a row that they would just keep giving it to him like he was some kind of god, let's keep posting up Tayshuan even though it's not working at all.
I have no idea why they took out the 2nd unit, who were on a roll and winning the game for us.
Instead let's put in Rip Hamilton and have him leave Morrow wide open for 3...

I am losing my mind as a Pistons fan.

We are starting Austin Daye at the 4.
Greg Monroe did not play even 1 minute.
We lost to New Jersey to open the year.
Our options on offense still seem to be 1) Rip and 2) Tayshaun.
Charlie V took 10 shots and 9 of them were threes.
We refuse to let Ben Gordon take over when it matters... which is why we signed him.

Kuester needs to be fired... and if we don't make a trade or two and balance our damn roster... Dumars needs to be fired.

I feel terrible after watching that.

We're gonna see many different line-ups to start out.....team has no identity. You gotta throw the **** onto the wall to see what sticks. Usually that's what happens in the preseason - but this team clearly is still searching. What was the vegas line? Nets are much better than a 12 win team this year, and were at home. I expected a loss. You gotta try to find a chemistry that works, and if none do you continue tinkering - or sometimes have to tear it all down and start again. I will give Daye and Monroe at least half a season before I start making any judgments.

This team is going to take some time to gel for sure... A few guys have played together for years but Daye is still basically a rookie(played very sparingly last season) and is going to progress as the season goes on. This is probably a game where having Jonas would have helped us win. We could have used some of him at the 4 hustling for rebounds and battling against their bigs.

These are the main worries here.

There's no reason what so ever not to play Monroe. Monroe and Wallace V Humphries and Lopez would have been nice to see in the third..
